We had a lovely room with typically large doors opening onto a well-sized patio with lounges overlooking the ocean. The room was clean and spacious. The bath and shower were a bit small but did not deter from our experience. The restaurant that was adjacent to the hotel was excellent. Sergio was a wonderful host.

Massa Lubrense is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Sorrento. The bus ride is only 15 minutes to the city centre and the beaches. Massa Lubrense has such beautiful ocean views and a calm almost a village feeling that is worth booking!!

Super far away from any near town or city. Not much to do.
Super far away from any near town or city. Not much to do. Beaches are not nice here but there is a harbour where you can get an expensive boat trip to Capri. No buses around and taxi is ridiculously expensive... however a beautiful little village if you like peace and quiet and don't want to leave your accommodation at all for the trip. The nearest beach was Puolo beach (10 minute drive) which had dirty water, lots of boats and rentable chairs but no regular sandy beach space and quite far off if you don't take a taxi all the way there.

Massa Lubrense is a beautiful village right out side Sorrento. The views are stunning and it feels very immersed into the community, rather than the touristy atmosphere in Sorrento. There are plenty of restaurants and little shops near by. Would recommend Scooters or a Rental car however, because the busses in this region are not as reliable, but no matter where you stay in Almafi, that would be the case.

Fantastic views, plenty of good restaurants, friendly...
Fantastic views, plenty of good restaurants, friendly locals, but we hadnt realised it was quite so hilly.. and getting used to the Italian style of driving takes a while.. particlularly on the narrow mountain/hill roads with their hairpin bends and steep climbs, enough without someone parked on your bumper trying to get past on a blind bend.. Sorrento was particularly hectic, even at 24:00, often without any clear right of way or give way signs...tbh a nightmare to drive through at that particlular time, look on youtube for driving video to Amalfi, Sorrento etc for proper preview of conditions
Beaches although nice, with clear water were mostly pebble, and if you go in the water, watch out for the (small) jellyfish.. I had only been in the water a few minutues, about to go swim and got a sting across my leg.. ok it wasnt a Portugese Man o War but it wasnt expected.. no real pain, just an unexpected and unwanted surprise.. All I can say is research well and make sure you are comfortable with driving conditions and pebble beaches.. also for the better beach areas you often have to pay!

There are many hills in the city's territory, therefore it is large. The city is silent and quiet. The distance to Sorrento is very short, and we found better to stay in Massa. What is not good - too many pieces of city roads are in bad condition and not illuminated at nights.
The staff were so friendly from the moment we checked in and received our welcome drink right up until we checked out. We had one of the tasting menu's in the restaurant for dinner with wine pairing, the servers were so attentive and very knowledgable about the history of the wine. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from and the view made it all the better. The hotel is situated in the most stunning location and the sunset was just the best end to an amazing trip. I can't wait to go back next year!
Best place to stay so far during our holiday in Italy. This sleepy village is among local residents, olive and lemon tree groves away from the hectic of Napoli and Amalfi coast. Cozy and homy like staying in your second house. The kitchen is well equipped, clean bathroom and toilet, there is place to do laundry, a private terrace to have meal outside, etc. Candida is very lovely and always helpful to our questions. My family and I felt a bit sad to leave this place and we definitely will be back
The lemon garden is the best, laying in the hammock between the lemons, grapes and the breeze is heavenly.
Next to the B&B is an excellent restaurant as well.
We came with the bus from Sorrento and walked a short walk to reach the B&B. So it’s totally doable if you don’t rent a car.
We had dinner here as well, for 35€ you got more than you could eat, 4 courses with drinks. Super tasty food and reasonable price.
The view was the best part! It was like something off of a postcard. We also loved the pool, as it was kept super clean and we had it mostly to ourselves during our stay. Their partnership with Torre One Fire restaurant was also a giant perk - the best restaurant in Massa Lubrense hands down (we may or may not have eaten dinner there every single night on top of our lunches).
The owners and all of the staff were all absolutely charming and very helpful. The room was spotless with beautiful sea views across to Capri. The ground floor restaurant was very good for evening meals and the breakfast buffet had everything you could ask for. There is a bus stop immediately outside the hotel, with a reliable service to Sorrento and back, circa 10 minutes.
We made 2000 kilometers through the Italy during this year’s trip and stayed in many places. Profumo di Capri was the unique one. The gem. Best place we stayed in this year. Definitely will be back. Don’t even consider other places if you’re going to actively explore the coast. Stayed here only with my wife but the place is perfect for 2+2 or also even 2+3.
We had a wonderful stay at Agriturismo Il Giardino do Vigliano. Luigi and all the rest of the family and staff were very kind and helpful. Our room was perfect, & a lovely view of the sea. Great breakfast-which included all important eggs for us Americans 🤣 . As well as excellent Italian pastries etc. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.
Fantastic place for calm family vacation
Friendly owner, knows a lot of interesting about Italy, shares about culture, museums, interesting place to visit etc
The house is surrounded by lemon trees with a fresh smell. The house is hidden from the center of the city, its really quiet place, but just 3 mins from bus station.
Marco is the best host ever! He is really thoughtful. He picked up us on the ferry, booked a boat trip to Amalfi Coast, took us to the center and made everything so we had a great time. The room and breakfast are simple but nice. The hotel is right on the beach where we watched an amazing sunset.
Breakfast was so good! Lots to choose from, very fresh and they had eggs! Restaurant staff and cleaning staff were exceptional. Beautiful hotel, not far from Sorrento by bus. I’d recommend the boat tour to Capris from the hotel. It was truly amazing!!
The location is great! It is in the town of Massa Lubrense and is a 5 minute walk to see some great views of the Amalfi Coast. There are also great restaurants and bakeries closeby. Gianna made me feel welcome and the room was very clean.
The hotel service by Claudio and Daniella made this visit astonishing.
The views from the hotel are spectacular and the shuttle service to the beach and Raphael's restaurant are frosting on the cake. Worth every Euro we spent on it.
well located out of the Sorrento hustle and bustle.
gorgeous pool area with bar
short walk down to the town for variety of restaurants and gelateria
fresh food stores easily accessible for our lunch on the patio and picnics
The property was very beautiful and private- like we had our own estate! we loved the mix of old charm and new convenience. The Feeling Italy team was amazing. they really went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay!
Best of location. Near Sorrento but not in the town. Great views and privacy. Just bring a SMALL car as you need to park on the road. If the property was available available for sale I will buy it in a heart beat.
Beautiful property, nestled in the hills of Massa Lubrense. Gorgeous fruit trees and plants surrounding the large home. Excellent 4 course dinner served in the dining room. Beautiful porches overlook the property.
Gorgeous view from the grounds (no view from the room), ample parking, people are generally friendly, very easy to get into Sorrento or drive the Amalfi coast.
