Lovely short stay village, the chateau was amazing and the staff, especially Julie,who had only recently started but her knowledge was 2nd to none . I would say everything was great in Combourg, the hotel was just across the street from the Château, the town in general was quite and peaceful, the food was delicious as was the coffee. Definitely recommend it for tourists visiting San Malo for the joyful drive and the cheaper rates.

Lucine and Thibout were excellent hosts, friendly, helpful and caring. Breakfasts were excellent. Touring Brittany was easy from this central location and less expensive. Many signed trails for bicycle touring.
