Excellent location right in front of the market. There is a weekly market on Fridays when the town comes alive. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the room spacious. Great tub/shower.

Historic town set on the river Aude! Needs a complete makeover and a lot of money spent by the commune to revive business! However it is an unpretentious, honest little town with good infrastructure and close to many areas of interest. Many restaurants, bistro’s to choose from. Good Friday market! Definitely worth a visit!

Limoux is a great little town.
Limoux is a great little town. Lively and beautiful, with a lovely ‘old town’, lots of easy parking, a gorgeous fast flowing and clean river,plenty of life even in winter, a nice market on Fridays in the square, surrounded by cafes and bars. Limoux is a friendly and safe village in l'Aude well worth a visit. I'm a foodIe (gastronome) and tried the pizza "Landaise" at the "Le Concept" restaurant in the square and recommend this pizza if you are a foie gras fan. Sounded strange, but no it's divine! Also be sure to try 'Fricassé de Limoux" (local specialty) at le Grand Café in the Square.

Limoux is a lovely town plenty of restaurants in the square. We liked the tapas bar on the corner. If you go on a Tuesday night the market is on so very busy. Great for people watching. You can easily walk around Limoux its lovely by the bridge.

Spacious living areas and rooms with wonderful character, super pool and outdoor spaces with views over vineyards. Well equipped kitchen too. Great area, very relaxing with good walks in the hills and between the vineyards. Jeremy was a superb host, extrememly generous and helpful with a real understanding of hospitality. Overlooking a garden area with views of the river. There was a lift into the apartment. The apartment is within easy walking distance to Limoux Town, shops and restaurants, beautiful apartment and would highly recommend it, thanks to Anna and Michael for an enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed the private outside space for sitting and eating. It was quite a warm week and the house remained cool enough to be comfortable; a fan in the bedroom was welcome. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels and cleaning products. There was plenty of room for parking. The gite was well placed for exploring the area.

The town is quiet and very well located to visit area. Big supermarkets are close by but can only be reached by car. Having a car is the best option to go to Limoux.
