Great for a short Weekend trip, Museum at Schlossphilippsruhe ideal for Kids. Great for picknicing on the Main river. Wilhelmsbad worth a visit espescially when the Carousel is running.. Some lovely Churches to see and also great for Shopping. Some Pretty good and reasonably priced Restaurants , for all tastes.

It seems that they have understood the Bible of a hotel and how to manage. I simple loved the young staff trying the best to be kind and solving anything really quick. I admire the resilience that two people of the staff had when I observe a bunch of Spanish people being rude and hostile because they were making fun out of the way they speak English...

There are stairs no lift. This is an annex above a steak house - you need to go around the corner to the main hotel, which has a seated statue of one of the Grimm Brothers outside, to collect your key, Very near the bus station, market and town centre. Hanau has a direct S-Bahn line to the airport and is a major rail hub so good public transport.
