Andenes you go there to see the whales as the weather was...
Andenes you go there to see the whales as the weather was not good our whale trip got canceled, then two nights is too much. We went to visit the space center which is nice for adults not so much for children. Next year this will change however as they are building an experience center. You can also see the Puffins that is also nice.

Great place for spotting Whales (Orcas and Sperm Whale) the Whale Center is the best one to go with...very knowledgeable Team. Very nice and gentle people Great place for watching Puffins and White tail Eagle (hunting puffins) We are there 10 - 13 July 2019 Nice place to rent bikes and explore the small village Nice food and lovely small restaurants Weather is good for July 5 Celsius See the Midnight sun

Beautiful corner of the world, with excellent hiking and beaches just outside of Andenes. If you like wildlife, the safari to the puffin island to watch the nesting puffins and eagles soaring above to catch and eat the puffins is right out of National Geographic.

Best place to be in the north part of Europ to see whales in...
Best place to be in the north part of Europ to see whales in summer. We had some great trips with Sea Safari Andenes. Great trips on RIB boats. Also lots of other things to do around Andenes. A visit to the Space Center. Nice walks, lookout points and places to visit. Also great bird trips with Puffins and Sea Eagles.

The host himself offered to pick us up from the bus stop to the apartment and then to the airport during the check out. The apartment had everything we needed and is located stone throw away from all shops, cafe n beach The check in was smooth n apartment was clean n tidy. Delays of 8 hours or worse can be expected during the summer peak. If you are booking accommodation in Andenes and planning to travel there from Gryllefjord suggest that you go for a flexible booking if possible.

The location is very central in Andenes, the breakfast was filling with delicious coffee (very important for us!), and they did a load of laundry for us which was greatly appreciated!
