We booked the hotel to get away from the mess of our new kitchen being installed so it was a break not a holiday. The dining room wasn't open on the Monday night so we had to use the Bier Kellar which wasn't to our taste so we went out to eat on the second night.
Unfortunatly, the internet wasn'good which was a problem as I was working (I couldn't send E-Mails with attachments).
We couldn't understand the reasoning behind the heating in the room having to use a small mobile electric radiator.
It was good to sit in the lobby by the fire.

It should be emphasised that this is a sports venue with rooms, not the usual hotel. It is probably very good at catering for that segment of the public, but not the older generation. I stayed here when it was a Hilton, this visit was a culture shock but that does not excuse the faults.

I liked the hotel overall presentation and decor.
I liked the hotel overall presentation and decor. Was really interested in all the facilities such as gym, sauna and pool. Really lovely fish tanks in eacc floor.
We went to the pool and had to leave due to vomit in the pool and ee didn't return. We really booked this hotel to enjoy the lovely facilities and we were not able to do so.
Room was full of spider webs, so was the balcony.
I had a spider bite on my left leg which is now swollen up and infected. I found the big dark spider in the twin single bed room and managed to kill it i didn't sleep all night with fear of what other insects were crawling in the rooms.
I asked if the sausages were vegetarian for breakfast and i ended up with pork sausage. So i left the breakfast.
I was offered tea ir coffee at arrival for Breakfast snd then was charged £8.50 for two cappuccinos which took me by surprise.
At 10.30am, the fire alarm went off for a long time and we were not sureif the procedure. When i called 0, the lady said it qss ok for now but next time we need to evacuate but didn't mention the process etc.

The old Hilton Hotel was very nice,
it was comfortable with sofas in the foyer where there was a bar. The new Village Hotel is very basic- no sofas, noisy and no signs for toilets or lifts. Reception is like a supermarket self check-out.

Bracknell is a very built up place not very much in scenery...
Bracknell is a very built up place not very much in scenery but its a place that is near enough to legoland which was our main reason and then there is a bus X4 Reading you have to get to go to the Bus station and there you get a connecting bus 703 will bring you to london heathrow, legoland, windsor. IF you want to go to london you can also get the 702 bus they are affordable but long so we took the train from bracknell company of 3 cost 45 sterling return and its only 1h07m direct. The bus takes 1h30. Most of the buses are contactless and I can recommend a good place to eat which is in between the bus station and the train station called market inn. I got a lovely 9oz rump steak with peas, onion rings, tomato and salad for 9.49. its a busy pub at all times. They show all the matches as well. There is also a pizza hut there so you can get it at the bottom of the hill from the train station on the right. Better value during lunch.so if you are doing sightseeing plan your trip well in advance on transport and stay and place. I was unsure of Airbnb as photos can be old and you may be sharing with others and in pubs not a good one as they can be noisy if they have nightclubs or music.
The hotel was immaculate, the staff brilliant and the room was beautifully refurbished. We stayed in a family suite and it was excellent value for all 4 of us including breakfast. It was great to have the privacy of the children having their separate area for sleeping as it has a different feel to the usual 'kids on sofa beds' arrangement in so many other hotel family rooms. It meant we could put the children to bed, draw the curtain and enjoy a bit of time together without them!
Very spacious and located conveniently opposite Waitrose, town centre and close to the station. The table and bench is probably the highlight since I required a big work area. Good internet connection, washing machine was very much needed and would stay again if I'm to visit. Highly recommend to everyone if hotels aren't your thing.
Nice spacious room, bed was comfortable, very large bathroom with a decent shower.
Hotel rang late at night, to make sure I was still coming.
Plenty of parking.
Room cleaned every day which was a bonus.
Hotel has lots of character, and was not run down like so many in the area.
Clean and cosy with period furniture.
The hotel itself was nice, the room was nicely decorated, beds comfortable. Bathroom clean and modern. Like the play blocks for the kids on reception and the tvs and sofa areas. Kids got goodie bag with milk and a cookie on arrival. Staff were all very nice but were all super busy. Cleaned towels provided each day.
The hotel was absolutely amazing. The room was enormous and very well equipped. The bathroom was first class. The breakfast was extremely good and all the staff were very helpful. As a bonus, driving an electric car, there were charge points at the hotel. So no looking around the area for charge points.
The hotel is very impressive and all staffs are very friendly. Especially the captain in the restaurant Mr Mohammed, he takes care of my family and I very much. I am very appreciative of his service. Other stuffs are very helpful too. I will consider joining the membership and I will be back next year.
It was ideal for the intended purpose, as somewhere to crash after a day at Ascot. Only a short cab ride from the racecourse, but in a quiet location with plenty of off street parking. Rooms are basic, but expected at the price. Much cheaper than hotels nearer Ascot.
The staff was pretty nice and always replied our queries and doubts, the location is awesome just meters of supermarket and The lexicon. About the Bracknell bus and railway stations, it is just 8-10 minutes by walking. I definitively would come back in the future.
The location was convenient and the room was cheaper than other hotels nearby. The toilet and shower were great. It was quiet (until 06:00). When I mentioned the issue of the bedding on check-out I thought that my complaint was taken seriously
Set just outside of Bracknell the Stirrups proved to be a lovely hotel. The room was modern, large, airy and warm. I got a great nights sleep following a very good meal in the hotel restaurant. Overall a very nice hotel which I'll use again.
Excellent place to stay and the addition of the patio to the rear is brilliant. All the basics are thought of and so much better than staying in a hotel and priced similarly.
So much better than a hotel room, The staff were on hand quickly for a unforeseen small issue and was fixed promptly, would definitely stay again when visiting UK.
