Beautiful harbour area and stretch of the South Coast Walk.
Beautiful harbour area and stretch of the South Coast Walk. It's a lovely town that does not have the winter shut down feel of some other coastal towns in the UK, probably because it is also a working port town so never really completely switches off.
We ate in La Petit Maison and Rock Fish; both fabulous restaurants that I can highly recommend and drinks/cocktails in Liberties on the Harbour front; also very much recommended.

There are a selection of local shops were you can stock up on provisions without the need to go too far.
You can also enjoy a trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway, joining at the station stop on Dartmouth Road.

Loved it quant interesting not commercial.
Loved it quant interesting not commercial. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants. It was Autumn when we visited and the town had slip into its winter mode. Restaurants and shops closed earlier than we expected. Best to check opening times. We enjoyed eating in The Birdcage pub restaurant. As one would expect Brixham its hilly. Plenty of walks but we did not have time to take advantage of many. We will definitely be going back my favourite place in Devon

Unlike the rest of Torbay Brixham is a working fishing port and so is busier in the off season. There are numerous pubs, cafes and take aways along the harbour front with the rest of the small town set back behind it.
There are numerous information boards around the town telling readers about the community's history.
The walk from the harbour to the marina is flat and its worth a wander to the end of the breakwater. However, to get to the residential areas is a steep climb either on the roads or the various sets of steps.
This property has been beautifully converted to provide a small but perfectly formed home for a couple to stay in. Everything is brand new and of high quality. The bed was very comfortable, and the property contained everything you needed for your stay. Emily left us a cream tea and homemade shortbread on our arrival, which was a nice surprise! We particularly liked the fact that the property had its own dedicated parking space and outdoor area with fantastic views over the harbour. We will definitely return if we come to Brixham again.
The room was clean, comfortable and in a great location with super views of Brixham harbour, it was impeccably decorated to.
The bathroom was spacious with a fantastic shower and his & her sinks with heated and lit mirrors.
There was a fridge with a bottle of milk in, a coffee machine and a 1 cup kettle.
It was also a nice touch to supply a couple of glasses of wine on the table overlooking the harbour and sunset.
Location was perfect for my friend and I - we were attending a wedding at the Berry Head Hotel.
The caravan was immaculate, very cosy and nice decor. Very surprised to receive a fabulous welcome pack, everything you could need. This is by far the best air b&b I have stayed in. Thoroughly recommend. 100% will stay here again when visiting Brixham. Thank you very much.
Location is superb, just a few minutes walk into the harbour at Brixham. The flat is small, but for a holiday and compared to a hotel room is a really good space, and is very well appointed. We came with nothing, but were still able to make a cup of tea and there were welcome cookies. The kitchen is well kitted out and great for self catering. All in all a great stay.
Sea view Lodge is spectacular - the views are simply breathtaking and the accommodation was immaculately clean, spacious and felt like a hotel. Parking really easy and a short drive or a walk into Brixham. Beautiful St Mary's Bay down a 100 steps just a few mins from the lodge and beautiful walks on the SW coastal path on your doorstep. A real treat of a stay
Great location for accessing Brixham shops and restaurants and lovely view over harbour. Plenty of space for the two of us.. Kitchen had all the facilities we needed. Milk in fridge, white wine and biscuits all thoughtful touches. Can imagine that in the summer dedicated parking space essential.so a really great feature.
Great location overlooking the harbour. Full of character. Good central heating, plenty of hot water, bath, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer/drying rack. Brixham was lovely with great shops, takeaways and pubs. Keysafe made arrival easy. The price for the cottage was superb. Dog friendly.
We stayed in a Villa in the grounds of the hotel. Even in a misty December day the view was amazing. We had a superb evening meal in the hotel and a good breakfast.
This would be a great spot for a summer vacation.
The location is excellent and only a quick drive to Brixham harbour.
If you are staying in Brixham then what better than this. The location is perfect, plenty to see. The fly bridge is great place to have a morning coffee. There are other boats available to stay on in Devon, but I think this may be the best. Breakfast cafe a couple of mins walk.
On the dinner menu, I particularly enjoyed the chef's chicken and pork signature dishes. Though fish featured significantly on the menu, we had no problems over the wife's seafood allergy. Three good local real ales were on tap.
Great location overlooking the harbour. Comfortable, and with all equipment that you would need. Plenty of room for our group - just four of us. Expensive - but possibly worth it for the location and comfort.
A very well equipped apartment and located well for access to the harbour, local shop and bus stop. Sharon ensured we had a comfortable stay and we were left an extensive Welcome pack. Very good value for money.
Upstairs loft room with balcony overlooking Harbour was fantastic. Rooms were clean and tidy with a cottage style decoration. Great having a dedicated parking space on Quay. All in all great place to stay
Perfect idyllic location. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation and was perfect for our 2 night stay for a wedding at the Berry Head Hotel. Would highly recommend staying here.
