Haworth Main Street is a wonderful place to amble and check out some very interesting shops abd nice coffee shops .
At yhe top is the wonderful parish church with exquisite stained glass windows .
The church is built on the graves of the Brontes.
Behind the church is the parsonage, famous home to the literary Bronte Family and an absolute must to visit. ( Open at weekends only in the Winter months and easy to book in advance online)
Beyond the parsonage , a lovely path leads up onto the moors and a variety of walks for all abilities.Plenty maps available to check out length and difficulty of walks.
Haworth Railway Station is well worth a visit too with regular steam trains .
Oakworth Railway Station of the famous " Railway Children" is just one mile away and also worth a visit.
We ate at Haworth Old Hall Inn and had a great meal , in a nice setting for a very reasonable price.
We also ate at the Buffet Car Café opposite Haworth Station - great breakfast , and reasonably priced. Really good coffee.
Theres a small wholefood café/shop next to the Old Post Office at the top of the Main Street - definitely worth a vist and a good browse as lots of delights await in there.
Definitely going to return as I want to explore the walking more, though Haworth itself is "hilly" so might be tricky getting around if you have mobility issues.

Haworth is full of stunning country walks which are all easily sign posted, Depending if you want to do a short walk or be a little more adventurous and head miles out. The Bronte falls & top withens is a must, if you manage it. The independent cafes and shops that line the lane are simply beautiful, which adds to the unique character of this place.

The walk to Top Withens was wonderful especially the Bronte waterfalls and Bridge. The Bronte Parsonage and Church was excellent for those interested in the Brontes. Lots of nice independent shops, bars and cafés on Main Street. Hebden Bridge is close by for an excellent walk via the Buttresses to Heptonstall if you are fit enough!

We had booked the Bronte Parsonage on-line and the visit was very good , the Church and Cemetry were next door and very interesting as well. All set within dramatic scenery. The walk to Top Withens is better started at the car park nearby unless you are hardy walkers we started after doing all of the above and gave in and will return to complete the full walk in December. Plenty of places to eat on Main Street if you like eating out.
This cottage is situated close to the main street in Haworth a short distance from many pubs, tourist shops and cafes. No parking but the car park for the museum is behind it and rates are reasonable per day via Ring-go. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and is compact but functional with a full kitchen so you can cook if you wish. Lots to do in the surrounding area. The heritage train, East Riddleston Hall, Hebdon Bridge, the Bronte Parsonage and Saltaire were highlights. I would stay here again happily.
Lovely room, bath with jets and separate shower. The building was very old and the internal decor was in keeping with its age. There were lots of delightful touches, interesting pictures on the wall, wonderful aged books. Loved to have stayed longer to spend time looking through the books. Given that Haworth High Street is the very centre of Brontë country the owner should be complimented on her achievements. All I ask is that The Old Registry never falls into the hands of a Hotel chain.
The location was convenient for Haworth's Main Street.
Parking was free.
The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom was large with large windows and pleasant natural light, the jacuzzi bath was fine.
There were small jugs of milk and water in the small fridge on the landing (to share with the other rooms).
The entrance on the ground floor had nice period features.
Everything was perfect, I'd often wondered about this building, did t realise I could stay in it. Lovely room in a great location, with a small but well-equipped kitchen.
Excellent value and so close to pubs and restaurants. Our favourite place to stay in Haworth, and we've stayed in a few places there.
Loved our time at Havendene, it was the perfect size for our family of 5 and a wonderfully presented home! Quiet location, short walk to Haworth Main Street and great pubs, restaurants and cafes. Tanya was a fantastic host, we can’t wait to return!
Lovely room with fantastic view of Yorkshire countryside. I have wanted to stay a night in Haworth for years and finally got the chance, this hotel did not disappoint. My favourite part was the restaurant room and the food was delicious.
Great little comfortable one bed apartment, ideally located for Haworth Main Street .. dog friendly which is a must for us.. we are regular visitors to Haworth and we would definitely rebook.. thank you to Ruth for being a great host.
The cottage is in the beautiful village of Haworth. We love how it is positioned only a short walk from the main street. The cottage is well looked after and is a real home from home. The bed is really comfortable.
Very attentive and kind host who cooks a smashing omelette. The location right next to main street was a big plus! A biscuit and jug of water waiting in the room after a day of walking was also very appreciated!
The view. Perfect Location in the heart of Haworth’s main street, breakfast included (it was snowing during our stay so the view was superb from the tea room), the bed was so comfy and we will surely come back!
Very central, lovely & clean hotel. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was delicious.
Wished we had booked for longer. Haworth is a beautiful place to stay.
Hotel was very clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful.

Dog and Gunn next door was excellent, good food and nice atmosphere.
