From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome.The hotel room was spotlessly clean and comfortable.The view from our window was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast . The family who run the Inn are all very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean as was the shared bathroom. The home-cooked spicy vegetable soup and Chinese chicken curry in their restaurant were great! A great base for exploring Sutherland.

NC500 without the hassle. Outstanding personalized breakfast with locally caught, fresh fish option (so much for boring Scottish breakfast). Extremely nice and quiet rooms (there are only 2). Access to fridge, extremely pleasant hosts, very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. We were in Scotland for 3 weeks and this was one of the nicest, most pleasant, and comfortable BnB's we stayed in. HIGHLY recommended as is Helmsdale, great little town. Quiet with plenty to do, Telford Bridge, Telford Church, awesome sea bird watching opportunities nearby, fantastic access to the NC500 destinations. There is even a local volunteer run 9 hole golf course that we thoroughly enjoyed. Access to the entire area of the NC500 is very easy from Helmsdale without the traffic, noise and hassle of being on the route.
