We really enjoyed our stay at Town Street apartment. It was comfortable and clean, and the location was wonderful. There were some
lovely pubs and cafes right outside our door. Jane was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

The bed was very comfortable. The tea and coffee facilities and toiletries were adequate. The breakfast was good. The availability of entering and exiting the hotel from the side entrance was great.
A great place to stay. Vibrant, plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants. Ideal for walkers, cyclists etc with the Middlewood way, Peak District, Peak Forest Canal nearby. Also Werneth Low and Etherow country parks nearby.

It’s on a river and there’s a canal nearby as well. The main part of the town is to the right of the station, but there are two pubs, restaurants takeaways to the left as well. There’s an old mill if you cross the river and go left.

Marple was an overnight stay on a motor trip from The Cotswolds and a tour trough the Peak District. We ate at the Norfolk Inn, an easy walk downhill from our B&B, but a challenge on return with heavy traffic, exhaust fumes from autos and trains. Really can’t review Marple beyond that, although the people in the pub were very nice.

It was like going back in time, £5.50 for the old fashioned cinema that has an ice cream sales (£3 for 2 ) interval mid film.
An Italian, and nice food Cambodian restaurant. Bevi, a real ale bar where a pint, and a "half bottle" large glass of wine was £8.50.
Canal side path walks, 16 locks, tallest aqueduct, the town is split by a river, with pubs, and restaurants both sides. There are clothes, nicnack, and charity shops for the ladies to browse, a rail station , and it proved to be a good base for a variety of trips/walks out.

Marple is a small village near the Derbyshire Dales, which is why we chose it. Within walking distance there was 2 pubs and an Indian and Chinese restaurant. We had a few drinks at the Norfolk arms, which had a band playing and was busy. Highly recommended. We then had a meal at the Indian Purple Pakora which was excellent.

I am biased because I was born and raised in Marple but it is still a wonderful place to visit.
The Hive apartment is situated on the main pedestrianised street in the centre of Marple. Opposite is a cafe with tables on the street. It sells fresh bread and cakes and take away food. It also open for dining all day ,including evenings, and Sunday. There is an almost continental culture on the street with bars and cafes with tables outside. There are many restaurants all over town. My favourites are The Dolce Vita Italian restaurant and the Cambodian on Stockport Rd. five minutes walk from the apartment
There are picturesque walks along the canal
The apartment is situated in the centre of Marple - one minute from shops, cafes and bars. Correspondence with the owner was prompt and regular. The key box code was emailed to me 24 hours before arrival but she actually turned up as we arrived.
This is the third time that we have stayed at this property, which speaks for itself.
THIS HOTEL DOES NOT EXIST. THIS IS A SCAM.
I arrived around 6pm to check in, turns out this hotel doesn't even exist and the address takes you to an Indian Restaurant.
The owners of the restaurant told me that I was r
The 3rd person that day who had booked a hotel that doesn't exist.
DO NOT BOOK!!
Cheap and cheerful B&B. Beautiful Victorian house. Great to find a single room! Clean, comfortable and parking on site. Excellent location just minutes from the station with direct link to Manchester. Marple and Marple Bridge have lots of local amenities.
A beautifully presented, calm, and comfortable space. Every last detail has been thought of from condiments to cafetiere. The bathroom is lovely, complete with good quality cleansing products. It is quiet and ideal as a base in central Marple.
It was a lovely comfortable flat overlooking Marple Bridge high street. We managed to park in the road outside the apartment although the pub car park was not very far away if we had had to park there. Definitely recommend this property.
It was amazing hotel for just one night. It was far away from Manchester than I thought, but again it was only half an hour. Breakfast very good. Room was very basic but it was only for one night so fine for us.
Newly and nicely decorated. Very peaceful and in good location - easy walk to centre of Marple and near to canals and countryside for walks. Everything very clean. Tea, coffee & sugar in the kitchen.
