This hotel is beside the River Tay, a minute from Perth Museum and Horsecross Concert Hall. Rooms are en suite and many have views of the river and the hotel's award-winning gardens.

The staff made me feel welcome, helped me with my luggage as there were only stairs at the property and they even helped me sort out a taxi to an event I was attending.
The room was clean and obviously well looked after, with plenty of space to spread out my things and not trip over them.
The bathroom had fresh towels and the shower was very easy to figure out and get at a reasonable temperature without scalding myself.
One of the most unique hotels in Perth, in a 15th-century watermill, where you can still watch the water trickling through the original water wheel from the garden, lobby area and Lounge Bar.

Perth used to be the capital of Scotland and has obviously been a very wealthy city. I would have loved to have seen it then.
Unfortunately it is now much like many cities and very run down.
Most things in Scotland are beautiful and I was really looking forward to Perth but found that the surrounding areas were much better than the City centre. So sorry as I would have loved to have said it was great.
Glasgow and Edinburgh are obviously big vibrant cities and I expected Perth to just have a little of this.

We were too early in the year for a number of attractions unfortunately. Come after the end of March. However, the Black Watch Museum was excellent especially if in to military history. You can have a guided tour which is very very informative, excellent in fact.
The restaurant, Kisas, was very good.

A small/compact City.
A small/compact City. Historic and the New Museum is fantastic. There are many independent shops as well as the shopping centre. Plenty of good eateries and coffee shops.
well placed for walking or cycling the river has footpaths along it and is well maintained. A lively theatre/live event scene too.

We were in Perth for one night only to see the Dnipro Opera Company from Ukraine perform La Boheme at the city's concert hall. But the city is well known to us.
Parts of Perth are looking a little down at heel these days but it is still a pleasant city to visit with lots of facilities and good eateries.
We ate at the excellent Both3rs Italian restaurant before the opera. Good value and delicious food.

People are friendly, the mix of old buildings and modern ones are great, city centre could do with a big investment, lots of empty premises, if you want a haircut, nails done or a fast food takeout then you have plenty to choose from.
The room is simple but huge, clean and comfortable, with good sitting area where we could relax ourselves after a long journey.
The beds are comfortable.
Bathroom is new and big.
Shower is good.
Kettle, Coffee, tea are all provided inside the room.
Very good price.
Simple breakfast but enough.
Friendly staff.
Easy check-in / check-out
The hostel located in a queit area, could sleep very well in the night.
Only a short drive from Perth.
The best hostel we had stayed during our 15 days vacation in Scotland.
We enjoyed our first night at the Grampian Hotel so much, we decided to stay an extra 2 nights. The staff by far made our experience exceptional. Their customer service was above and beyond! The hotel is reasonably priced, and the rooms were very clean with nice, functional layouts. The location is also very good! It's about a 5 minute walk to Perth train station, and right down the street from the downtown shopping area. And even with that great location, we still found it nice and quiet.
From the moment we arrived in the car park till the moment we left the building we had a truly fabulous stay - indeed we firmly believe it was the best Guesthouse we have ever experienced. Our apartment was most beautifully appointed and equipped, the bed extremely comfortable, the breakfast cooked and presented by our host David was sublime ( and highly entertaining!) - what personal and presentation skills he possesses.
it was the highlight of a lovely week we had in Scotland.
Breakfast was an enjoyable experience with a menu to suit every taste.
The historic building (1699) would appeal to anyone with a feeling for Scotland's history, but inside it has been tastefully modernised with due regard for comfort and safety. The hotel has an ethos of recycling and sustainability.
The city centre location is within walking distance of shops, the railway station and other attractions.
I booked the wrong hotel as I was looking for a hotel in Perth Australia. I could not see on the booking site, that the hotel was in an other country. I noticed the mistake afterwards and contact Booking and hotel and asked them to annulate the booking, but the hotel just ignored our writing and just cached the money. Really bad style.
The hotel has plenty of car parking spaces. It is a lovely building with lots of character. All of the Leonardo people were very friendly. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated and warm and the water in the bathroom was lovely and hot. The breakfast was served in a lovely dining room and tasted delicious. Thank-you!
The location was easy to find and great for exploring Perth on foot. Breakfast of choice was cooked for you when you arrived at the dining room. Very nice bedding, and the bathroom was bathed in a wonderful natural light.
Owner very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for our needs. Unfortunately we were in Scotland for a very dear friends funeral, but the hotel was just what we needed to make the sad occasion a little easier.
The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is within walking distance of Perth Royal Infirmary which was useful as my husband was
unexpectedly admitted while we were on holiday.
Hotel a little bit tired but warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was very traditional - black pudding; baked beans, bacon etc. Coffee was okayish and service was attentive. Toasters are pretty feeble.
Breakfast was cereal and fresh fruit..Flat is about 20minutes walk from Perth city centre and good bus routes near by..Perth it's self works as a good base for touring central Scotland..
Very central, a little noisy but would expect that in city centre. Great centre for exploring this area of Scotland, particularly without car. Generally very clean and well equiped.
This is a small hotel with a fantastic character. I was made to feel very welcome and the breakfast was exceptional. The bedroom was simple, smart and extremely comfortable.
