Weymouth has a lot to offer visitors. A lovely wide and sandy main beach, where you can walk all the way along to Bowleaze cove, another nice spot (pebble beach) but quieter.
Brewers Quay is great to wander around, plenty of cafes and restaurants and again you can walk to North Fort which looks out to Portland.
Sandsfoot Castle and beach is a nice place to visit in the summer.

My partner & I have always loved weymouth.we did get rain & wind but we expected it being in February but ,lovely beach even @ night listening to the waves & in the spring & summer it's even better as can enjoy the beach / shops & views ect much more x.the only thing I did worry about though was lots of police presence on the road where we stayed, just a few doors up & cordoned off with police tape & 2 police vans & cars parked outside & never left for the 24 hours we were there .nice places to eat ,we found are the old rooms in pub/ restaurant & the marlboro chip shop/ restaurant which is green outside & has a little bridge over the water near to it where the boats are .

Everthing is on the flat ideal for people with walking difficulties. Lots of shops cafes and pubs that do food. The Pavillion on the sea front that puts on good shows at reasonable prices... we will return for another lovely break .
Steve was an amazing host and extremely thoughtful. My husband and I were on our anniversary trip and casually mentioned it to him. Steve took note of that and sent an anniversary surprise to our hotel room - it was so unexpected and thoughtful.
At breakfast the first day, I mentioned I liked a lot of sugar in my tea and Steve ensured we had loads on the table for the remaining 2 days! You can't beat that type of customer service.
I will definitely go back to Chapter One Hotels if I'm ever in Weymouth.
We enjoyed our stay at Seaham. The room was clean and tidy in a great location perfect for a short stay. Nick and Caroline were very helpful particularly with parking ‘Nick helped us find spaces which was all very helpful. The breakfast was very nice just what you’d need. Overall we had a very nice 3 night stay here and would recommend Seaham as a place to stay in Weymouth.
Great location. Couldn't believe how quiet it was, despite there being a pub/restaurant next door. Building was lovely and the room and bathroom were very well presented. Chickerell is a great jumping off point, for the centre of Weymouth + Portland, and the private, off road parking. is a fantastic bonus, given that many hotels/b&bs in Weymouth don't have access to this.
Food was excellent. It is only a few minutes away from the railway station and 5 min walk from the main car park. There is no parking at or outside the hotel but as with most Weymouth hotels you park in the main car park and you are given a parking pass. You can drop off your bags outside the hotel and book in. You can unload within 10 minutes
Great location for Weymouth and other Dorset attractions . Car parking a real bonus .
Rooms very clean, modern and beautifully decorated . Very well equipped with high end amenities too .
Hosts very friendly and cooked a fab breakfast (even gluten free options for myself !!)
Thank you Simon and Rosie .
Very friendly host. Lovely clean room with kettle and drinks. Excellent self service breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, every kind of cereal, toast, jam, honey, marmalade.
The location was excellent on a very quiet street but a 15 minute walk into Weymouth.
The Clarence is in the perfect location for Weymouth seafront, marina, quay and shops. It has certainly earned its 4 star rating; everything is of such a high quality finish, the hosts especially welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts worth working up for!
On arrival the receptionist sorted me out with parking which was very close behind the hotel. Single room small as expected but had everything. Breakfast a simple tick sheet and service was very quick for a busy Sunday morning
Nicely decorated, very clean hotel. Fantastic welcome from the owner who has a wealth of information about Weymouth and the surrounding area to offer. Breakfast was very good too.
Breakfast was perfect. Stephanie has a menu where one selects what to have for breakfast. Continental/ English breakfast.
Location is central in Weymouth.
