Luarca is very beautiful , you fell the force of the Bizkaya...
Luarca is very beautiful , you fell the force of the Bizkaya in the entire city. It is not touristic at all, you rarely hear other languages than Spanish. The restaurants offer the most delicious and fresh seafood , the large variety of Bizkaya and Atlantic fish and regional food. You can have a walk on the 3 moles or climb up to one of the seaside hills. You should not be afraid of rain and a part of the buildings is empty and not well-kept, so there is some lost places charme.

Very nice harbour. Very good beach which unfortunately was not cleaned. Restaurants sufficient choice. Restaurant Miramar was our favourite. But we have to add that we were there only 3 nights, so no chance to compare much. Quite enough space to walk and see different things. The parking was very reasonable in the time we were there. We parked at the public carparks near the beach.

Free car parking is available at the Port which was a few minutes away. If you were lucky then it could have been 100m away. The receptionist was very helpful and gave up information about the local shops and restaurants. The room was very comfortable and clean and ours had a balcony looking over the square. We didn’t have breakfast but it was available in the bar.
