It was not as advertised, in fact, far from it.
It was not as advertised, in fact, far from it. It was very run down and not maintained. The sofa was very worn. The smell of sewage was apparent in the whole aprtment. There was dirt and dust in all corners. The pool was dirty and had broken tiles and not teally fit for use. My husband got an infection in his stomach from the water. The cleaners arrived after we arrived and were rather abrupt. I was also concerned about GDPR as they had taken u images of passport I.D. The location isn't as advertised, its a bit of a drive from where they confirmed, so to get to anywhere you would need a taxi or a 20-30 minute walk.Nyssa - 10Scored 10

Zahara is a magic place with beautiful beaches and gastromony . The people are very helpful and friendly . I would recomend the Playa dos alemanes and also a walk to see the camarinal lighthouse where you can take a walk to a nearby beach or enjoy the view . Restaurante Antonios , El Cortijo , and taberna El campero were very nice . Restaurante el campero in Barbate was excellent be sure to reserve before hand .LucioPortugal - 8.0Scored 8.0

Location is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. The cafeteria serves wholesome food. The pool are is very relaxing. The rooms and interior are very clean. Pool area should be cleaned more thoroughly though.

This hotel is a great location but it is very dated and urgently needs modernising . We only had breakfast included as we prefer to eat out so the selection of breakfast food was ample. The pool is a great size. The bathrooms are very dated , doors are needed to close off the open basin area/hair drying area. You shouldn’t need to pay on addition for sun beds on the beach. We had a nice mini break stay as we had excellent food as we ate out at Lalola, and a restaurant next door and Breeza was nice tapas but ridiculously small portions literally 2 pieces but 8euros each sone more , so it needs to be more generous portions as we spent 109 euros on our first evening for tapas as you only got 2 tapas on the plate. Would I go back , maybe but it’s not a 4 star hotel it’s more like 3.Amanda

Staff is very nice and work very hard especially the General Manager and the breakfast lady. Reserve the full sea view room for a large balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast is really good enjoyable. We took day trips to Cadiz and several other beach towns. Beach bar in front to hotel is perfect for ice cold beer and friendly service. Sunsets are beautiful and the water is crystal clear. Really enjoyed our 4 days for a little over 400 euros. We will be back.WALTERUnited States of America

Quick 5 minute walk to gorgeous beach and another 5 minutes to downtown where restaurants and shops located. Right outside front door is a tennis court which the kids loved playing on. Downstairs in the property is a great place to play on rainy days as it has a ping pong table which converts to fooseball table and pool table. Would definitely rent again.

Friendly staff. If you travel by car, free parking is available on the main road, just keep looking. Chiringuitos on the beach sometimes have live music in the evening. And go at least once to Bolonia for the dune and the great beach. And while you are there, visit the Baelo Claudia Roman ruins (EU citizens free entry).

For us, the fact that we picked up the keys from a hotel reception not far from the accommodation was great because that meant we did not have to worry about arriving late in the night and arranging pick-up in a very busy period. Parking was not a problem (beginning of July) It was walking distance to a grocery store, butcher, etc. You could also go to restaurants within walking distance. If you want to go into town, it is a 7' drive.
