We stayed in early April and did not try any of the beaches.
We stayed in early April and did not try any of the beaches. Walking in the old town is like turning back the clock 500 years - it is a wonderful place with lots of narrow streets, stairs and beautiful old buildings. There were plenty of restaurants and bars along the promenade by the seafront. The three restaurants we tried all served excellent food at reasonable prices. The three castles are worth visiting and there are lots of smaller older towns in the area we would have visited had we stayed for longer. Sibenik is much less touristy than Zadar - we really enjoyed our stay and plan to return to revisit the old town and explore the area more widely.

Sibenik is a great little town.
Sibenik is a great little town. We were there for only one night and half of the next day but could have spent more time exploring the town and surrounding areas such as Banj Beach and the Aquarium and the Fortresses. There were a lot of restaurants and things to do in the surrounding areas that we would have loved to try.

Sibenik is easy to walk around - very small and compact. There is a UNESCO cathedral, 3 castles with excellent views as well as a wonderful town beach. All these can be accessed on foot. There are also plenty of interesting day trips available either by car or boat.

the city is great, very beautiful and chill.
the city is great, very beautiful and chill. It's everything up hill, so since we didn't have a car it made things a little more difficult and I also think it's a little expensive. But for a short stay it's perfect. Visit the Saint Michael's Fortress and take your time with it, it's really great.

It is not good location for bikes.
It is not good location for bikes. There are no bike routes at all. To get to Krka, Sibenik old town, Vodice or Solaris you have to take always main routes full of crazy drivers. KRKA national park is overprized and it is not worth of spending 40 eur per person for entry. They must be crazy to ask for such money to enter to the forest. And I was an idiot that I paid it.
Everything was perfect. We enjoyed our stay in Studio Maslina thanks to the great atmosphere and high standard apartment. It:
- was very spacious and cozy
- had all the necessary equipment
- was very clean
- was located in a quiet area of Sibenik with a nice garden and a BBQ.
Additional to all the nice facilities mentioned above, the host was just amazing. Maria shared some of her time with us and a lot of valuable/interesting information about the city and Croatia in general. We highly recommend staying there!
The hotel exceeded our expectations. We got an upgrade, rooms with a sea view, which was fantastic. The location is simply the best and I would always recommend staying in the center if you are visiting Sibenik. We had a car and parked it by the hotel for a fair price (12 EUR per day). The breakfast was outstanding, very tasty and with a great variety of vegetables. The staff was friendly. My daughter loved the bath products. I will clearly stay at the hotel again next time we visit Sibenik.
I recently had the pleasure of starting at the Heritage Hotel Life Palace , and it was an enchanting experience from start to finish. This hotel is a true gem, a delightful blend of history and luxury that transported me to a bygone era. I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service fromthe staff. It is central location of Old City of Sibenik nearby historic sites and very close to the sea Marina.
Sime was a very attentive host, giving good tips for the city, and he even took care that we could park very close to the apartment. He pays attention to all the details in the apartment, making our stay in Sibenik very comfortable. Sibenik turned out to be an extremely beautiful town, with perhaps fewer tourists than other Croatian cities in the Dalmatian coast, something that we really appreciated.
Good location very near bus station Sibenik but in a quiet street. Small supermarket nearby as well as scooter rent (recommended!) Clear instruction, door code so easy check in. Aircon in living room reaches into bedroom if you keep door open. Good shower, most ameneties included. Quick reaction to questions. All good and fair price. Perfect for 2 people.
The Hotel is in the heart of Sibenik. I was afraid that the nearby church bells will wake us up, but NO! The windows are indeed soundproof! Breakfast is always fresh and with abundant choices. Dinner: we could choose from only a limited number of plates but whatever we chose (and we nearly tried all of them!) were top notch! SPA is superb...
Everything to do with Bluesun Sibenik is amazing. Zoran aims to make you feel like you are at home. Everything is exactly as the pictures show it. We are on a 6 week tour of Croatia and based ourselves here for 7 nights and explored up and down the coast from Split to Zadar. This is the best accomodation setting we stayed at hands down.
- Nice view of the city
- Supermarket, gas station close to the apartment. Sibenik has central location (you can drive 1-1.5h and visit Zadar, Split, islands, Krka national park, Kornati national park, ...)
- Easy to park car
- Owner responsive
- Clean
- AC available
- Good price when I reserved
The apartment is perfectly furnished, clean and new. The outside is even better, a swimming pool a small sauna, a large sofa and a table for outside. The view on all the city is also mesmerizing ! Probably the best value for money I had on the Croatian coast and I spent 2 years there
The owners of the apartment are nice people and they create the same pleasant atmosphere in their apartment. The rooms are modern, beautiful, clean and very spacious. Only the best recommendations. I will be in Croatia again, I will definitely stay here. Anita, you are🤍
Very nice apartment, with all necessary. Very close to city center. The host provided free secure parking not far from location which is greatly appreciated as quite difficult in many Croatia cities to find a decent parking at a good price.
Vineyard of Šibenik is a beautiful, extremely clean apartment. We were a group of 4 and were very comfortable. The apartment is in a great location for exploring the city or walking to the beach. Marko was a gracious and helpful host.
The apartment is in the heart of Šibenik old town, in a very quiet alley. The owner is very kind and approachable, giving her best to please the guests. Everything was super clean and tidy, my big recommendations! Hvala Vam.
Location, comfort, clean...in the heart of old town, nicely furnished with a nice host who was super quick in responding and giving very clear instructions. Definitely recommended and worth repeating when again in Šibenik.
This is better than staying in a hotel. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the hostess and her husband are very friendly and helpful. If you want to experience the best of Sibenik, stay at Medulic Palace!
Amazing big, comfortable bed, big bathroom, close to the city center, very Good contact with the owner. That was our best accomodation during the Croatian Trip. We highly recommend it!
The property is newly renovated to a very high standard, the breakfast is exceptional with a selection that I haven’t seen in Croatia yet. The staff were attentive and friendly.
An excellent location just minutes walk to everything you want to see in Sibenik. With windows on two sides the apartment is well lit and feels cozy and happy.
