Atwater is too busy for me; lots of people packed into a small town, but only one local hotel so its very crowded and haven to lots of truckers it being right off the highway. Denny's is within walking distance, also crowded. If you don't mind the wait, food is very good, place is clean. Restaurant across the street is for those who prefer everything fried. Best choice is Brooks Ranch on Bellevue Road, center of town. There's a bowling alley next to Taco Bell, lots of fast food joints, grocery stores, a small park, all on Bellevue Road. Shopping center is over the bridge (turn right at Winton Way light,) other than that there isn't much else to do.MonaUnited States of America
