We had a terrific stay at the Surfrider! We loved everything about it. Staff was awesome. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very beachy vibes, which we loved! The rooftop deck has great drinks and the food is off the charts. We will definitely be returning soon!

Great location; amazing sea views.
Great location; amazing sea views. If you love the sound of the surf this is the perfect place. The bed was really comfy too. Kitchen had everything you needed. I would've preferred a regular sized coffee pot, but we made what they had work.

Malibu is incredible. It’s a one of a kind city.
Malibu is incredible. It’s a one of a kind city. It’s expensive to stay in Malibu but worth it if you can find the right accommodations.
And make sure you eat at Malibu seafood. It has the best fish and chips and crab salad!!!

Lots of beaches to explore and lots of different hiking areas to explore. Cost to eat out is exorbitant. Spruzzos had good food, moderately priced, varied selection and outdoor dining with beach views.

Much more quiet and chilled than expected.
Much more quiet and chilled than expected. Beautiful place and some great restaurants to eat in. We loved the Paradise restaurant ( traditional American style and huge portions) and Nobu! People in general were really really friendly.

Malibu is a glorious spot - the beach is amazing and from here LA is only 30mins away.
Lots of options for self catering or eating out.
Beware - quite expensive. A G+T was £12 ( but very nice!!)
A car is probably essential
First of all, I loved staying here! The house is located off Latigo Canyon Road in Malibu, close to the Malibu County Market, the Pier, and its adjacent beaches, as well as Pepperdine University.
I was searching for a tranquil place and found it here. Please be reminded that having a car is necessary, and the winding roads can be challenging at night if you are not accustomed to them.
I was upgraded to a family room, which was, of course, very spacious and fully equipped with a kitchen.
The cottage was cute with a beach vibe decor and very peaceful and serene, the perfect place to rest and recuperate after travelling internationally for a month. The deck is great at night with the fairy lights on.
The lady managing the property was lovely. As I was not driving she took me on a local tour of the area to show me Zuma beach and the hiking trails.
This hotel is a true gem! You get a true service and care that most of hotels failed to provide. The owners are incredible people making sure all is perfect for your stay. Their restaurant is simply fabulous. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Besides of the freshest and most delicious food, it has the most amazing view. We will come back!
Our stay at the Heathercliff exceeded our expectations! This is a wonderful location in the Point Dume area of Malibu located on a quiet street with breathtaking views! It a spacious and relaxing and allows you to truly enjoy what is special about Malibu away from crowds and traffic. The residence is well appointed and very comfortable. It was a treat!
Amazing views and a serene environment. There is a whole foods close by with a famous pizza spot in the same plaza! We stocked up on a few breakfast items. We had also visited El matador Beach and the Malibu Pier. The shrimp burger was delicious! We would definitely stay here again for leisure! Anything that we needed was promptly resolved with the host!
This unit is right on the water…at high tide the water goes under the building, which is wild and wonderful! The views are insane, and you could easily spend your whole day just looking out to the ocean. The environment around us was mellow and nice. The layout is good in the unit too, and the proximity to the pier is great.
Stunning home with fantastic views over the ocean. The balconies were accessible and roomy so you could enjoy the views. All the equipment was provided so we felt immediately at home and relaxed. There is a washer drier available which is excellent when on a long trip like ours and the garage was really useful for the hire car.
AMAZING! - On the beach, on the beach! - Like a film, loved it, best part of my trip, room was open plan, clean, large, with the best view EVER, beach was clean and the waves, wow! Wish I'd stayed an extra night!
Great location near Malibu Pier and surfing spot. Good value for money for the area. Room really clean and fresh with good decor. Nice touches with chocolates and good quality toiletries.
Great quiet location. Spacious apartment which was clean and nicely decorated. Fully equipped with everything you need for home from home. perfect base for exploring the Malibu area.
