Old Harbor Inn, hotel in Chatham

This Chatham bed and breakfast is a 3-minute drive the Cape Cod National Seashore. The inn features a gym and rooms equipped with a flat-screen TV.

Judy and Ray, owners of The Old Harbor Inn in Chatham, are exceptional hosts! They and those who help run the inn, Tanya and George, treated us like family and made sure we were comfortable and well fed. The breakfasts they prepared were absolutely delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed their made to order omelettes and Judy’s mouth watering blueberry pancakes which made for a wonderful start to our day. The Inn had the scent of baked goods wafting in the air throughout the day and night as Judy and Tanya created amazing breads and desserts that were available to us at all times. The location was perfectly located in Chatham, just a few convenient steps to the quaint, seaside New England shops and restaurants, and a mile-plus walk to Chatham light. It was a delightful weekend and we can’t wait to go back and experience the warm and wonderful hospitality of the Old Harbor Inn!

This Harwich waterfront resort offers an 18-hole golf course, free Wi-Fi, and brightly colored rooms that offer a sitting area and plush bedding. Central Harwich is a 10 minute drive away.

Breakfast at the restaurant was beautifully prepared. We mostly opted for the most wonderful bakery, Sill, which is in the same building as the restaurants. Highly recommended!

We have visited chatham at least 20 times over the years and it has become a home away from home- traditional New England town, lovely beaches restaurants, charming downtown - we like morning walks on the beach, seal watching at the pier (don't miss lobster rolls), searching for shells on Hardings beach, summer baseball games, and of course the Friday band concert! See you next year!

Chatham is pretty and friendly waterfront Cape Cod town.

Chatham is pretty and friendly waterfront Cape Cod town. It is monstrously overcrowded in August. No parking, tough to get into restaurants, too much traffic. Too much sizzle not enough steak. Go off season. Beaches are “protected” by coastal barrier beaches, basically meaning NOT oceanfront in most places.

The inn was great— nice staff, the room very cute and clean with comfy beds. I appreciated the soft sheets and nice bathroom towels! They have a lovely pool and it was sparkling clean. This was a great location only about 6 blocks from a pretty beach. I loved Chatham and would stay there again!

One of the prettiest towns in Cape Cod. It has a very nice downtown with beautiful stores and some of the best restaurants in the region. The beaches are great, at Chatham Lighthouse nearby beach, we had a chance to see the seals, who come there from Atlantic to rest.

The Inn is located within pleasant walking distance of downtown Chatham and all that it has to offer in shopping and dining. The National Seashore and other beaches are within driving distance but even in early June there was lots of traffic. Chatham is a nice place to stay put for a couple of days. The hotel was lovely with a pool and outdoor fire pit. A delicious breakfast was included. The hotel was charming and the room was very nice. Dana, who seems to run the place, was amazing.

The Hawthorne was recommended to us by a couple we met the previous evening. The views are amazing with a direct view over the beach to the ocean. The rooms are a good size with large beds. The location is perfect for a short walk into Chatham where there are plenty of nice bars, restaurants and shops. Parking is plentiful and great to leave the car whilst one walks into town. The short walk to the fishing pier is well worth the effort as there's lots of seals to see.
