Snacks were readily available for purchase, but had to go looking for the front personnel clerk. I also did this when I arrived.

Location was good like I had mentioned. When I arrived checked in this was easy. Went to my room it was warm so cranked down ac went to dinner came back temperature was about same. It’s been hot so I let is be. Bathroom had a towel no wash cloth about a 1/4 of toilet paper. Shower had no pressure no hot water. Could not unlock tv it was on internet called front desk gave it 30 minutes no one showed went to front desk I was told the girl who can fix that had left for the day. It took some time but some other girl showed up with a different remote control and unlocked it. Other than than that I spent time with my family and had some great food. When I go back I’m picking a different hotel.

My purpose was to help my nephew move out of his student apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by the attractiveness of many parts of Edinburg, which is largely suburban. The University of Texas has an attractive campus and additional schools around town.
With limited public transportation a car is absolutely necessary to cover this widespread city.
During the summer break at UT, traffic was very easy.

I had a wonderful time in Edinburg.
I had a wonderful time in Edinburg. There is much too see and do in the Rio Grande Valley. Had some delicious breakfast tacos at a local eatery and had Mexican food for dinner. Visited a friend and had a fantastic time. I will try to visit again because there are a lot of places I saw that i would like to visit.

If traveling with wheelchair bound guest - request room 108...
If traveling with wheelchair bound guest - request room 108 - 2 queens and accessible shower. Bottom of beds are NOT blocked thus able to use hoyer lift. It's the only room of its kind on the property.
Unfortunately although confirmed, (I called directly to property after receiving confirmation) room was issued to someone else BUT must admit Ella - front desk clerk worked hard to accommodate us. More importantly, Manager Erik Perales was very attentive the following day when explained as to why, although appreciated, suite that was ultimately issued due to having 2 beds, still didn't serve the needs of disabled guest. We were assured all information given would be shared with staff so they can better serve any future guests with special needs. This alone was very much appreciated.
This location is amazing for this specific Texas Inn. You have a one minute distant by car to the nearest highway connection to McAllen Miller International Airport, Entertainment, and shopping Outlets. Also, you have a movie theater of walking distance. You also have the Edinburg Scenic Wetlands & World Birding Center with many activities for the family. As always I would like to comment on the court yard, it's amazing with one large built in pool with sitting area wrapping the pool itself.
The bed was super comfy, the breakfast is good compared with other hotels, there are a lot of nearby shopping options, the size of the room was large compared to other experiences we've had, too... I would gladly go back to stay there with my entire family
Room was dirty and shows extreme wear and damage, towel rack was hanging on wall barely. Refrigerator froze anything put in it. Obviously popular with the criminal element and drug culture I do not recommend anyone stay in this hotel.
Your handicap restroom had the largest shower that I’ve seen in a hotel, and a very long time.
It was so nice that I will be returning because of the large shower. It was so big and comfortable wheelchair accessible.
The cleanest, quietest, spacious hotel I've stayed. I've visited Edinburg at least once a year for the last 4 years. This is the best hotel I've stayed at. Will be staying here next time!
