We just stayed the night as we were travelling back from business (hauling a vehicle). The hotel was extremely clean and the room was just as clean! The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. The breakfast was hot the coffee was ready and the price was awesome! The location was right off the interstate, so it was perfect (and had a huge parking lot that we could get in and out of with our rig! I highly recommend staying here even for one night... totally worth every penny!

I traveled to Madison to celebrate my sister's milestone birthday. I have been there before and like the city as it has many beautiful lakes and parks. We even went to Bordner Park near my sister's house for an afternoon cake cutting. There were little kids in our group who especially enjoyed the park with a children's play area.
Madison has great dining options ranging in different prices. While I was there we went to Nonno's for dinner and La Brioche for lunch. Both were excellent choices. There was a lights show Gleam not far from Madison. Great show!
I think Madison offers a lot for a short weekend getaway.

Its a nice university town . Go there if family or you know a student there. We went for a family wedding . We would not have gone to Madison otherwise. Its a safe place to walk around but honestly not much is interesting like the coastal cities are . Sorry

Lots of brewery fun, its an outdoorsy place even in the winter. Cant say enough about the Farmers market, April through October.
Lots of fun restaurants, The Old Fashioned on the Capital Square is a must.
Pretty easy to navigate, parking is ok, you may have to work at it downton but there are garages. The University campus is worth visiting. Lots of ethnic food in State street corridor. Also small shops.

We love Madison! Beautiful, clean and safe city. Lots to do.
We love Madison! Beautiful, clean and safe city. Lots to do. Great restaurants. Went to a concert at the Majestic Theater (Girl Named Tom), amazing. Ate at North & South Seafood and Steakhouse, delicious! Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a must-see! Picnic Point is a beautiful, short hike. Capital building great to visit, as is State Street. High end shopping at Hildale, including an Apple store. Free and delightful zoo.
The customer service at the hotel was top notch. We did not realize that the shuttle service was available prior to booking, but it made the trip to Madison much more enjoyable because we could get downtown and not have to deal with the hassle of finding a place to park. We enjoyed walking downtown and when we were done we simply called the hotel to be picked up. We enjoyed the pool and the staff let us stay a few minutes past closing so we could pick up our belongings and not feel rushed, which was greatly appreciated!
Everything! This place is so perfect- hip, clean and extremely well thought out. Plenty of space for hanging clothes, seriously comfortable bed and little details (like a small, postage stamp sized night light in the bathroom) that really made the stay wonderful. I only wish they had one of these in every place I visit! Plus, it's 2 blocks from the best coffee I've ever had- Cargo Coffee. Can't wait to return to Madison!
The hotel is obviously mostly a holding facility for sick patients of the nearby university hospital. There are hospital chairs in the rooms. The breakfast room was very unpleasant, with sick people coughing and expectorating during breakfast, even near and over the buffet. I would not have chosen this hotel had I known about that or the draconian mask rules that were in place.
We traveled with a youth team and having the amazing lobby space to enjoy dinner together and an evening of games and socializing is what keeps bring us back to these hotels:)
I also appreciate the clean, spacious rooms, especially the non carpeted floor feels much cleaner to me.
Large, clean space with good facilities and easy access to public transport. Food and stores in walking distance as well as easy access to Madison via bus for visiting city locations. Showers and bathroom were clean and everything worked fine. Lots of storage space.
I was in Madison to run the Lake Monona 20K Race and then the next day to bike the Ironman course. On Saturday we were able to enjoy the breakfast. Lots of delicious choices. On Sunday we left the hotel at 6:30, so we did not get to have the breakfast.
Our room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The location was convenient. I changed our reservation from another hotel to this hotel after we stayed there, for the trip back home. It is a great option and reasonably priced.
The staff was absolutely lovely and customer service is clearly something they focus on. The bar and restaurant on site was wonderful, and our bartender made the best drinks! We loved the room we were in and the hotel overall
No breakfast. Not a great location. Better than the spots up the street. The East side of Madison WI has gone way downhill over the years, and the political party in charge doesn't care. The police can only do so much.
Good one night stay on a road trip, would be nice to stay longer also. Not a lot of varieties for breakfast, but I think that is because of the current Covid-19 situation. Will recommend this hotel
We were in town to go yo Madison Art Fair. Location of hotel made it easy to get back n forth to the Fair. Free Parking was a Huge Perk. Hotel is very clean & comfy. Breakfast was good too.
The hotel feels very good. It is relatively quiet. There is a hot pool. It is very comfortable and the location is good. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby
