The staff were very friendly and hellpful. Our room was very small, but it was ok for us.
The hotel had a rooftop and a piano bar but those were closed for private functions so the regular residents could not participate and that was disappointing especially if you didn't want to go anywhere and wanted to stay in your hotel.

This city is bustling and beautiful.
This city is bustling and beautiful. The architecture is outstanding and unlike anything I have seen before.
It was a pleasure to see parts of the city I have seen only before in movies.
The Moma and Met were fascinating and interesting. The area is spacious and used well.
The subway is essential to getting around, and was designed thoughtful.
The train from Jamaica Station was a please to ride to Manhattan.
New York you have a special spot in my heart.

Too many attractions, impossible to see everything in few days.
It was my 4th time in NYC and there is always something new to do.
The bad thing is that the city is full of immigrants, unemployed and in the streets. Every time i went in Target (market), there was any issue between them and the security. Another point: now marihuana is allowed in the city, sold in specialized stores. So, it is not uncommon to feel marihuana smell during the day, anywhere you go.

Arriving in New York, especially straight after a flying...
Arriving in New York, especially straight after a flying from a Scandinavian country is a shock. Landing in Newark it felt like a 3rd world country in comparison, the infrastructure is woeful and worn to the nub. Then you arrive in New York City and it is so iconic, like walking around a film set, it’s genuinely awe inspiring. However, the cost of being there is phenomenal, expect to pay $100+ for a basic lunch and $300 for dinner (4 people). Tipping is nominally voluntary but in reality the server will make it quite clear that they expect 20% minimum, even at places like Starbucks for just handing you a coffee. It’s a ridiculous system, just pay people a living wage? The metro card is good value as is the Met and Museum of natural History.
Overall, you will have a fabulous time in NY just expect to spend a LOT; in fact it’s best to just accept the cost and just enjoy the experience of being in the city, there really is no other place on earth like it.

We bought a GO City pass which was brilliant and the hop on hop off bus drops you around to attractions. There was still lots of walking involved and the subway wasn’t well signposted and explained. The hotel was nice but used a lot of single use products in the restaurant area which felt cheap and wasn’t eco-friendly, despite the hotel being into recycling. The location and amenities were excellent. You need a week at least in New York but we would come again.
Lots of options for food and drink, the hotel breakfast was ok but very cramped and not easy to get around or find seating. Beds were very comfy but didn’t have a kettle in the room, but did have everything else. A few hotel improvements could be made at this hotel.
The city is great and there is a lot to see. Some attractions require booking in advance so be sure to check them beforehand.
Ellen’s Stardust Diner was a fun place to eat in Times Square and the 9/11 museum and World Trade Centre was a must do.

Boat cruise by night in front of NY.
Métro very easy to use.
Small hotel with all of the basic amenities in a fantastic location and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very small, but well planned out and the bed was very comfortable. It is walking distance to Times Square, the Metro and Penn station. we went for a long weekend to enjoy NYC, and did not have to take uber/lyft even once to get around anywhere in Manhattan. This is the place to stay if you are looking for a small, friendly, comfortable place to stay near Times Square, without the luxuries of larger hotels.
My recent stay was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Hotel Manager Allen. The hotel's prime location near Times Square allowed me to explore the city effortlessly, and the breakfast offerings were impressive in both variety and quality. The overall cleanliness and warm atmosphere of the hotel made for a memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Hyatt Place New York City/Times Square to anyone visiting New York, and I look forward to returning in the future.
Good value for money for New York. Easy direct 4 stop subway to Times Square. We were a family of 5 and had a family room with 3 beds. Very compact with little luggage space but comfortable, very clean & modern, great shower, delicious coffee in the mornings and friendly staff. Shopping on Broadway a short walk away and loads of food options surrounding the hotel. Excellent bagels at a convenience store nearby which we enjoyed for a cheap & easy breakfast. We liked being away from the chaos of Times Square.
I spent my 40th birthday at the Courtyard by Marriott in New York Manhattan/Central Park and I had the most amazing time from checking in with Gen, to Jamie's (I think that was his name) hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream at the lobby, after bracing the snowy weather, and finally to the check out experience with William. The shower was lovely ( the right amount of hot water plus pressure), and the location is alright, many restaurants nearby and about 10 minutes walk from Times Square
The location is perfect for us since we take a train to Penn Station. It is also within walking distance of most Broadway Theaters, which are always on our agenda . Our room was just as advertised, queen bed ,attractive and clean , with a great view. We have stayed at the New Yorker twice, and were pleased with both visits. We particularly enjoy the 24 hour coffeeshop downstairs, Tick Tock, for breakfast. The price was not cheap, but reasonable for New York City.
This hotel was very central to all we wanted to do in NYC. Check-in was easy, the room was fine as expected (very bare and minimal as expected) and the process was easy. I wanted a cheap, budget friendly, no frills place to stay, and this was perfect for it. Awesome location, affordable, and had just what you needed and nothing more (or fancy). You're in NYC, no need for a super nice hotel, get out and enjoy the city!
Our week-long stay at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness, combined with the modern rooms and pristine cleanliness, created an unforgettable experience. The location was a dream come true for anyone wanting to experience the heart of New York City. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional stay in the city that never sleeps.
The Warwick Hotel is in a fantastic location 5-10 mins walk from Times Square. Perfect base to get to all major attractions with subway stations close by but far enough away from the lights of Times Square so as not to disturb your sleep. Hotel has lots of character with excellent facilities and staff. Rooms are surprisingly big for Manhattan and were very well appointed with comfortable beds.
The hotel is in the best location I've stayed in yet in New York. It's only a short walk from all major attractions - Times square, Bryant Park, Madison square garden and the summit one. The hotel staff were great couldn't do enough for us. Room was small but same as higher priced hotel rooms in New York. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay again.
The location was great - 5min away from Central Park and 10min away from Times Square!
The room was amazing - so big and comfortable.
The staff was very kind and friendly - the cleanliness was perfect, they change the towels every day!
Highly recommend!
It was our first time in New York but for sure this was the best option for hotel!
Thanks a lot to the staff!
Location was fantastic right in the middle of Manhattan, walking distance to Empire State Building, Times square. We even walked to Central Park. We were offered a ride to the airport at fixed rate lower than Taxi & Uber. We would stay at this hotel again if we go back to New York. We would recommend it to anyone going to New York. The room was clean.
This hotel is in a wonderful location! Close to so many things within walking distance. So many wonderful restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen. We stayed at the Belvedere when visiting my son, who lives New York City. Great size if you love the smaller cozy hotels. We have stayed here three times now, and have never been disappointed.
I was 1 block away from Times Square, which I usually try to avoid, but once I got in from the hustle and bustle of the city- Riu was a VERY nice hotel. Staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable and the space felt rather spacious compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Manhattan. A good value overall.
The hotel is in a great location. Quick walk to Grand Central Station and not far from Times Square and other famous Manhattan streets and landmarks! Like the ease of self check in/out rather than waiting to speak to staff. Free water and the view from the roof is amazing at night time!
The staff were friendly, but not overly so. It’s one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been in in New York City and yet the price was reasonable. The location was fantastic. I did pay the extra amount for the city view and that was a nice luxury. I highly recommend it.
The location of our hotel was right in the center of Times Square. It is situated in upper Manhattan and going from here to any of the major sports in NY was a breeze. Location was top notch and so were the staff members of the hotel.
Staff was very friendly. The hotel is located close to Times Square and Madison Square Garden and is great if you want to explore Manhattan. The Gym is also very well equipped! We really enjoyed the stay.
The hotel was in the center of Times square and gives you a chance to experience the city life of New York City. All the street foods, souvenir stores are within walking distance.
