Skala is a beautiful place and it has everything you'll ever need. Lots of restaurants, ice cream, waffle, cocktail bars, sand beaches with sun beds and umbrellas but if you don't want very crowded places you can take an umbrella on your own and enjoy the sea.

Great get-away for a few days.
Great get-away for a few days. Fantastic restaurants and welcoming locals. Beaches and water can’t be any better! Marina Beach was a favorite. Ate several meals at Moshos and loved every meal. Also dined at Toxotis which was also great. Took the City Bus to Aponisos for 2€ each way to get a better sense of the beauty of the island.

Skala is a mostly summer resort than a village.
Skala is a mostly summer resort than a village. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, port, beaches. The main "city" - Megalochori - is more authentic with pretty houses in the Greek style ( white-blue houses). Also, the main port is situated there.

Skala is beautiful with a great selection of tavernas.
Skala is beautiful with a great selection of tavernas. The sea is crystal clear and perfect for bathing. The ferry crossing is easy and dependable.
There is a danger of too many cars being allowed to spoil the island. There is no need for a car.

Skala is a beautiful little village on the small island of Agistri. A perfect location to relax, enjoy unbelievable sunsets every evening and emerge yourself in Greek cuisine.
If your looking for some local Gyros then do not go without a visit to Gyrokomeíon. Yialos Fish Restaurant just on the outskirts of the village is one of the best restaurants on the Island with great hospitality.
If you want to commute around the Island then the one bus on the Island can get pretty crowded. However, an e-bike will easily take you from one end of this Island to the other.
If you love your beaches then head to the other side of the island and visit Apónēssos, For only 5 euros you can secure a lovely sunbed in a private beach area that provides table service and beautiful areas for swimming and basking in the sun.
Excellent location right in the centre of Skala. It was only a two minute walk to the beach as well.
The hotel’s restaurant was amazing and we absolutely loved every single dish.
The staff were hardworking and very welcoming. It really felt like a home away from home.
We absolutely loved the room with views to the pool and mountain, an amazing bed, storage space and air condition.
Overall, amazing value for money.
The hotel has a small pool with sun beds and the area is an absolute sun trap!
Dionysius is exceptionally well located: just 3 minute walk from Skala town & ferry pier & all local restaurants etc & beach but in a v quiet & scenic spot. Perfect sea views from our balcony & most rooms have sink & fridge so you can make your own breakfast & lunch. Nadia at reception was v helpful and this was our third time to stay there. Great spot too if you like snorkelling or swimming off a platform (not beach) as you can do so at now abandoned neighbouring ‘Hook Club’ or several hotels nearby.
The location is amazing, a minute from the beach and 5 minutes from the restaurants and boardwalk, yet it is relatively quiet and peaceful. The food was good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is great for families, and the family rooms are spacious enough to accommodate families with older kids as well as toddlers. To sum it up: we loved the general atmosphere of the place. This hotel is family owned and managed and you can feel that they put their heart into it.
Hotel has great location - Skala beach is just a 1-2 minutes walk away and ferry port is also nearby.
Hotel is managed by the sweet family, staff is very friendly and helpful. Although we didn't had sea view from the room, it was directly next to the pool. We could literally open the door of our balcony and jump in the pool))
Property also has cute restaurant with gorgeous views of the sea, you can simply enjoy sitting there.
Our stay was perfect and exceeded our expectations in every way!
Very friendly and responsive staff, the hotel is new and spotlessly clean, right on the beach.
The restaurant of the hotel is probably the best on Agistri (and we have tried several tavernas on the island), really like a chef restaurant. The pool isn't big, but it was just enough and not crowded, so the kids enjoyed it very much. Very good value for money.
A very friendly and confy family run hotel. Maria and her family are professional and smiling like old friends so you can feel like home far from home. The hotel is very close to Agistri harbour and to all shops, bars and restaurants in Skala and offers a full range of meals and drinks in a suggestive patio with pool. Hope to get back soon!
The owner Maria is super friendly and helpful, speaks English very well. A cozy place. Literally walk out onto the beach. Nice swimming area about a 30sec walk away. 12-15min walk to the Port. 6-8min walk to Skala Beach. 20min walk to Skrili Beach. 25 min walk to Chalikiada Beach. 8min walk to bus stop.
Perfect location, few minutes from the port, beachfront. Rooms are nice and modern. Polite and helpful staff. All the greetings to a Luna and restaurant staff. Food was very delicious. Swimming pool clean and warm. Hotel highly recommended.
Great location in Skala!
The girl at the reception was very kind and helpful! We really appreciated it.
The rooms and the yard were very beautiful!
I definitely recommend it for Friday-weekend in Agistri !! :)
A lot of shared spaces to sit around with friends - you won't be confined to your room only. Even when it's scorching hot outside, the hotel is built in a way that provides a lot of shade with a great breeze.
Very friendly staff at this family owned hotel.
Our room was just renovated and at a very good standard. Bed and bed linen was very comfortable.
Restaurants and all shops you need in the surroundings.
Staff was super friendly and helpful., Room was clean. Hotel is a bit to the back of the street, so there are no food smells from the nearby restaurants even with open windows.
Probably the best breakfast i ever had in a hotel, everything cooked individually, no buffet. Everything served by people with care and kindness, nothing was too much trouble.
Good options for food at the hotel's restaurant-bar-cafe. Very very helpful and kind staff. The rooms smelled amazing every time and the beds were very comfy.
