According to Peter and Lyudmila, who were guests of the hotel on my booking: It's a beautiful area with plenty of places to go for a walk. Attentive, polite and responsive staff - not a single request of ours was left unresolved. Varied food in the restaurant, we also enjoyed dinner in the tavern - it was an opportunity to get acquainted with greek cuisine (dinner must be booked in advance). We had the best holiday experience - we want to come back next year.

The staff is extremely nice! The location is beautiful if you are looking for a relaxing vacation, some quietness and very good food. The moment you step out of the room you’re 5 steps away from the beach. The hotel has a restaurant inside, that’s where you have breakfast and check in/out. The hotel is right at the entrance to the “beach strip”, there are a lot of other restaurants near and great supermarkets. I suggest you bring beach towels and essentials with you to the place.

Very good hotel, clean and nice staff. I really felt welcome.
We loved everything! This small town is a HAPPY multigenerational place meaning it is always busy and vibrant. Welcoming and friendly to all. HOW many quality bakeries????
Clean, safe and well endowed with supermarkets, ATM's and three bus stops through the village to rest of Island.
A place happy in its skin xx
All restaurants/tavernas/bars/coffee shops top notch to suit all budgets. Fave places are HELLAS, Gregory's (chain but used by locals), Panorama (just out of Arch main road near Tsampika church for shaded dining and amazing views), Stegna Kozas for seafood and fun beach side dining. Classy...cheap or extravagant with the same service!
AVOID early bus 630/730 as full of students.
AVOID taking huge cases on board. Ask driver to put in trunk!!

Really well located for exploring the island, with everything you need easy to find.
We went to see the ruins at Karimos, the folk museum of Lardos, the acropolis at Lindos (we got there at 0830 and breezed straight in- by 10am the queue was huge!), the quiet and beautiful wild beach at Lahania, the amazing wind and kite surfing beach at Prasonisi), the deserted Italian buildings in Eleousa (which were amazing), and Seven Springs.

A lovely, quiet part of the Rhodes coastline that is an absolute must to visit. The beach itself is lovely with a spattering of small shops, lovely eateries and bars.
Stegna has a mix of accommodations for every type of traveller and budget.
Archangelos also has a small town with a few more shops and necessities too.
A care here is necessary - definitely worth the cost of hiring one as taxi's are expensive.

The old town seems to be more traditional and not much a tourist destination, with nice blue and white houses lining the narrow streets. It is possible to take a walk down to Stegna, but it is advisable to take some firm shoes. Stegna itself consists of one beach street/promenade and some houses. There are several tourist shops that also offer some basic needs such as food, two car rentals, and a bus stop that is served by one bus daily to Rhodes city; however there are frequent buses to/from both Rhodes city and the south of the island from the old town. There are also daily ship cruises to Lindos from Stegna.

Archangelos is a small functional town with 2 big supermarkets. It is not at all a holiday destination, however, there are some good tavernas to choose from, particularly Afentika for fresh fish and very friendly service.

I’ve written a lot already and unfortunately the receptionist booked us a taxi even though we never asked for it. All I asked for was where the taxi stand is. They insisted we get in that cab although we’d already had a booking from before. So it ended up we payed extra 60 euros and already payed for taxi before 100 euros. When I wrote them I needed to speak to the manager he had a smiley and said he was the manager but didn’t say sorry or that it’s sad it’s been a mistake. He also didn’t want to give out his name witch can’t be professional from a “manager” so be very careful they don’t book anything for you by mistake cause they will never pay it back (and the lack of their English and kindness is gonna take over everything you say)
The Rustic house is a traditional house in the narrow streets of Archangelos. Tradition and modernism are the element of decoration. It is all new and fully equipped. It is in a quiet area without car noise but at the same time you are in the center in 3 minutes. There is a roof garden to enjoy your coffee or your food with view the big church of the village and the Acropolis. The hostess Dimitra greeted us with a polite smile and provided us with hot food upon our arrival. I definitely highly recommend it!

I have travelled most of my life and I was just blown away by the hospitality of the owner and her daughter. The hotel is directly across from the ocean so I could have breakfast and watch my kids swim. Nothing was too much trouble and the situation is perfectly placed. My young kids were always getting a ice cream or a hug and it just felt like we were home. It is by far the most amazing holiday experience we have had and we have traveled all over the world.
Amazing view from the balcony!!!
A special mention to Antonios, whose exceptional hospitality granted us a late checkout without any extra charges – a thoughtful gesture that made our departure seamless and stress-free.
The cleaning services at this hotel deserve high praise as well. Every inch of our accommodation was flawlessly maintained, leaving us impressed with the level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Great hotel in a very very quiet area in Stegna beach.
The room was very good and the bed comfortable, super clean with everyday cleaning, bathroom is big with shower cabin.
Wifi at room is always strong and with fast speed.
We had very nice breakfast with everyday something different for us!!
The owner and the staff was always there to help and fulfill our needs.
The kindest, most amazing owners. We travelled by buses and the owners offered us a free ride to and from the bus stop in a different town. The room was great, with amazing flowers outside that smelled heavenly. The apartment hotel is not situated by the main road so it's very quiet and the walk to the beach takes only 1 minute.
Fantastic house! In terms of facilities - you get just everything as if you are at your home. I'm a frequent traveler but it was really exceptional
Amazing hosts! They met us in Archangelos, took to the house and when there was a minor issue with the key, they come within minutes to help
We liked the owners hospitality. They were vere nice to us .first we came hotel they brought us grape from their farm and and a bottle of wine as gift. the hotel was really clean. Everthing you need was well designed.
Thanks to Fotini and her family fır Thierry amazing stay .
The room was clean, spacious and very well appointed with a lovely balcony and stunning view.
An infinity pool with plenty of sunbeds also had a great view. The owners and staff at the hotel were most helpful and a pleasure to stay with.
The family who run the hotel were very friendly. They treated me like one of their own. They also have a small grill / bar a few minutes walk away with access to the beach and sun loungers. They made me feel very welcome there too.
Strategic location, allowing you to visit main attractions in east side of the island. Very big room, close to the sea and good restaurants.. follow the recommendations of hotel to discover the best(quality/price ratio) places.
Very nice small hotel. Dimitri the owner is very friendly and helpful
Very simple breakfast of boiled eggs ham and cheese with local bread.
Rooms very basic but comfortable, all in all would happily stay here again..
We had a great time in this hotel. Chara, her team and little boss Bethoveen were excellent. Situation of the hotel, the foods were amazing. Definitely we will come back again.
