I have skied in many resorts in Europe and North Amerika, and Whistler-Blackcomb is on top of my list. The view, the variety of runs, the lifts, the grooming are all excellent. I will visit again before the end of this season and bring my two grandsons with me.

WE always try to eat at Araxi when in Whistler - been a favorite dining spot of ours for over 20 years. Spring time in Whistler has walking, hiking, skiing and is less crowded than high season. Nice finishing touch to the our ski year. The views from the top Harmony and Symphony chairs are the best!

Great end of season skiing but expensive for a family.
Great end of season skiing but expensive for a family.
Our accommodation was clean and good location but lacking in some amenities.
Depending on where you stay it can be quite a walk to the lifts.
If you want a more quiet stay go to the Blackcomb side. However most of the restaurants, shops etc. are in the village.

Over 4 days we enjoyed the convenience of shopping and skiing nearby. A longer time is needed to explore the mountain more and the wide variety of eateries. The opportunity is also available to bike or hike but we did not have sufficient time.

Ski terrain is great, including side- and off-piste, however lift ticket cost is way over the top at CAD 250 per day (compare that to European superresorts like Les Trois Vallees which are 40% the cost).
And the snow quality is unreliable - 23/24 was the worst season even according to the locals, I was just lucky enough to get fresh snow at the start of my week.
Won't be coming back to Whistler as the snow quality is highly unreliable, will go to Utah or Canadian Rockies in the future where the snow is more reliable (and tickets are cheaper) or Europe where it's much cheaper to ski!
Whistler would have to halve the cost of lift tickets for me or my family to come back.

Visited at the end of the season.
Visited at the end of the season. No snow at village level, but there was still powder/snow at the top - 5-10 inches news during our trip. The ticket prices are still way too high, but if you can pre-purchase early in the season, it's not too bad... Due to the season being not too great (snow wise) the owners should reduce ticket prices. Nevertheless, the demand is still high, especially at the weekend. The village supermarkets now offer very reasonably priced items (cheaper than Victoria!) and there are still good value restaurants around the town. The museum's and galleries etc + shops are great for non skiers.
Easy book in as the emails received were very simple.
Parking was at our cost but was straight under the Sundial hotel.
Position of suite couldn’t have been more perfect for 4 ladies, 3 that had never been there. Looking straight onto the Blackcomb and Whistler gondolas. I was sad that all gondolas were down for maintenance as that is one of the attractions to the area. I understand that it needs to be done, but one should be open for visitors to the area.
The hotel was clean, spacious and located on the edge of the village. It is a 5-minute walk from everything.
The hotel restaurant was nice; the price of food and beverages was high but not unusual for Whistler.
The pool area was great with access to water and towels. You could even get drinks delivered to you at the poolside.
The bed was super comfortable and the sheets were soft as well. The room was clean, spacious and the bathroom lighting was great.
We normally stay at the Fairmont when we go to Whistler, this was our first stay at the Summit Lodge, we definitely be staying in this hotel again.
The hotel is perfectly located (better than the Fairmont), the room was nicer than the Fairmont room we normally get, and the staff was amazing. I think we found our new place to stay when travelling to Whistler. Great value, beautiful hotel!
-location was amazing, one minute walk to Blackcomb gondola, Liquor store is right there, shops and restaurants are all very close, whistler village is a 10 min walk, we didn't use our car at all
-hot tubs and pool were awesome
-ski/board rental place was right in the hotel and it was amazing, really good staff and not busy at all even on Family Day Weekend
Hotel is fun, well appointed with extra little 'Easter eggs ' like a candy bar, rubber ducky in the tub, awesome Whistler sign in the lobby. Staff was so helpful and kind. Having a little kitchenette allowed us to eat breakfast in the room before heading to the slopes. Shuttle was easy to take. Location is close enough to everything for dinner and nightlife!
This property was right in Whistler Village which made it super convenient. Lots of restaurants within a short walking distance from the hotel. Our room offered a small kitchen at which was great to make a basic breakfast in the morning. This location also had a microwave, toaster , and a kettle along with a stove top and the use of basic necessities.
I loved that this property offers everything you could want and need in the most classic and simple ways. Everything from the room setup, kitchen, amenities, bathtub, spacious porch, pool, hot tub, and amazing location; this hotel would have me and my partner booking here again in a heartbeat the next time we return to Whistler!
Great room with small but functional kitchenette
Ski in ski out
Quiet location with regular free shuttle bus to village
Good spa & pool
Housekeeping daily & replenished toiletries & coffee
Ski & boot hire available in hotel
Complimentary ski storage
The location was great and likely the best part of the hotel. We did like that they had a kitchen and table for eating and the fridge and stove were full size so very good for families. The shower also had great pressure. Our kids loved the loft.
The hotel was close to Whistler village & you could park your car right there. You could walk to everything in the Whistler village. It was close to grocery store too. It is much cheaper than other hotels at the same site.
The pod Hotel is by far the cheapest option in Whistler. location is great, check in is great, staff is super friendly and accommodating and the pods were relatively speaking spacious. modern and catered towards young people.
Location, facility for skis/ snowboard and size of the room. The hotel was detached from whistler village so loud noises from the bars/ pubs could be avoided. The room also had views towards the mountains.
Location of the listel is awesome! Right in the middle of the village! Value is great for an overnight or 2 night stay. Not the fanciest hotel and not a ton of amenities but a great way to see Whistler!
Great fun had by all 8 of us staying for a few days at the Fairmont. Whistler is pricey. Staying at The Fairmont is a great home base for all that Whistler has to offer.
This hotel is a proper little gem! It’s a nice alternative to the hustle of whistler centre, with lovely walks just outside your door. It is picture postcard beautiful
Beautiful resort in Whistler, tonnes of activities within the hotel to do throughout the day.
Loved the pool area and sauna. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway!
