Mylopotias is full of partying young people and there is a nightclub just down the road from where we stayed so we could hear the thumping music. We didn't mind, but it did mean that from 10pm we wouldn't sit on the balcony. Great beach, stylish restaurants esp. the sushi, not overcrowded. We kept different times vs the young crowd which meant that the beach was nearly empty in the morning and started to fill up at 2pm is. The beach, mini market and restaurants were a long way from the apartments we were staying at. It was very touristy and geared up for the youth who want to party. Pay sun beds and umbrellas on the beach were expensive. Good selection of water sports in the ocean.

Far Out Club is loud for a few hours at night but dies down before 10 ish in July. It is lovely in the daytime and one place rents cabanas with 1 side plexiglas very reasonably priced. The room was very nice and the location excellent in front of the beach, just to cross the road. The host, Mrs Irini was very nice and helpful. Prepared our breakfast every day and also small meals whenever needed. We really loved the place and will visit it soon again. Highly recommended.

It is a small family run business and they really care about your stay in Ios. Nikos and his two sons, Kostas and Giannis, are the sweetest Greek treasures you could find and made our time here 100x better. Everything is clean from the rooms to the pool, feels very safe and comfortable. They even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us as it was our honeymoon!! The pool is excellent, with lots of sun beds, the gardens are gorgeous and the breakfast is incredible every single day! We got picked up from the port by the owners of the hotel and driven back. Its clean, spacious and walking distance to Mylopotas beach, which is one of the best beaches on the whole island. You can also safely walk to many restaurants bars, and even Chora. We stayed at Villa "K" and we had a view of Mylopotas beach that was unobstructed and wonderful. The villa was very spacious and beautiful in terms of interior design. It was super clean and the breakfast service at the villas was great too. They allowed us to leave our bags in reception on the day of our check out when our ferry leaving the island was later in the day, which was much appreciated.

Same bus goes to the chora (town) or port, so easy to get around this portion of the island. Pool is decently sized and deep and looks on to the beach so stunning views. There was a ferry strike that was was possibly causing us to leave early or late, the staff was very accommodating with either option.
