So, let me tell you about our recent getaway to South Male Atoll - it was like stepping into a postcard. From the second we landed, it was all about those island vibes and clear blue waters. Our digs were top-notch, I'm talking overwater villas and cozy beachfront bungalows with views that made us never want to leave. And don't even get me started on the snorkeling and diving - we swam with manta rays and checked out some seriously cool coral reefs. But it wasn't just about the underwater action. On land, we had spa days, tried all the water sports, and chowed some seriously fresh seafood. And let's not forget about the locals—they were so welcoming and friendly that it felt like we'd known them for years. Long story short, South Male Atoll is the ultimate chill spot. Whether you're into relaxation or adventure, there's something here for everyone. We left feeling totally refreshed and already planning our next trip back.

Very well organised - you are taken care of as soon as you arrive until the security at the airport. You don’t lift a finger, luggage is collected/delivered. Transfer by boat was very efficient - excellent service

The place is amazing, the watter and everything you seen in the photos and videos is exactly the same or even more beautiful. Thake care about the UV solar power, on our stay was maximum on the scale and a 50 spf is highly recommended as with 30 spf you will get burned and believe me is happening so fast 🤦🏻‍♂️ The temperature is quite constant and even during the night is very hot. Seaplane transfer can be quite expensive. Definitely worth visiting at least once in a lifetime!

The water bungalow experience was fabulous; stepping down the bungalow steps straight into the sea and the reef area for snorkelling was amazing. There was so much underwater life to see. Although the bungalows were a little tired and the bed was not the comfiest, we loved the experience. As they are semi detached, pray you don’t get a noisy couple next door! The sunsets were stunning.

We stayed at Adaaran Prestige Vadoo for eight days and could not wish for anything during our stay. We were assigned a butler, Mid Hun who helped us out with everything although we are not needy people he was there to assist with booking the restaurants and general day to day requirements such as extra cold drinks in the fridge. The plunge pool in the Sunset villa is great as you can just relax looking out over the sea and watch the numerous fish which swim around and even see the dolphins first thing in the morning. We had surf shoes which were very useful due to the steps into the sea from the villa being a bit slippery and also walking around in the water as there a re large rocks. The food at Adaaran is superb and a different menu each night along with a curry buffet. The food is a mixture of meat and vegetarian but there is also a lot of different seafood starters and main courses. There is a snack menu available in the main restaurant but you have to pay for items off of this and is it is identical to the Beach bar menu. Overall we had a fantastic relaxing time and the amount of time we stayed was about right.

there is no house reef, so snorkelling was not as amazing as some islands with their own house reef. For us, this didnt detract from a perfect holiday! the quality and choice of food was exceptional!

Our villa over the sea was amazing. A few steps down into crystal clear torquoise sea water. Snorkelling, even around the villas withy water depth of around 1m was exceptional. It is exactly as imagined and seen in videos of Maldives over the years. Paradise. Staff were fabulous and the entire resort fabulous. Restaurants and food could not be better either. Our "host" Ibrahim, was so helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and on call, 24/7 if needed. We will be back and we will ask for Ibrahim again.

We loved the place!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to the Maldives. We have been to a few other resorts in the Maldives but this one is really special from the moment you arrive at the airport and threw all our stay. People are just so nice and attentive and they know about your needs even before you. Don't let me start about their restaurants, apart from the main one, the M6M (underwater restaurant) and the Traditions Indoceylon really swept us off our feet.

Everything, this is my 2nd time stay at Velassaru Maldives and for sure it’s not the last. The staff are very friendly, the restaurant is very delicious, The room is very clean and the swimming pool is very nice. The spa is just perfect. I went with my little son ( 9 months) and they made it easy to me. They prepared a fresh food for him on every meal without paying any extra money. They made our stay as extraordinary.

Fabulous resort, especially being able to access the 2 other resorts on the island. The staff were professional, rooms were high quality, spacious with good amenities and some nick knacks provided. The food was outstanding at all restaurants we ate at. The pools were incredible, especially enjoyable for the kids. The kids' club was very good, especially the kids being able to learn different instruments.

The hotel was amazing. we all had a great time and would definitley visit again. There are differenct activities going on through out the day and we were never bored. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. This is not your typical hotel in the maldives, the vibe is buzzing, theres lots to do and its a fun place to go with the family. Excellent experience that wont be forgotten.

The resorts focus on a sustainability made it different from many other places and you could see that commitment in action. While it was a big resort there was plenty of privacy, the service and waiting staff were superb and attentive and there was both plenty to do or you could just keep yourself to yourself. The facilities were lovely, they were excellent for the price paid.

The management of the hotel is perfect at making you think/feel that any request you have is doable. The restaurant is fully booked? No worries they will open 15 minutes earlier to seat you to eat quickly. You missed your covid test? No worries they will set you up with two contingency plans prior to your departure. Everyone has a fabulously warm sense of humor.

I checked so many hotels before going to Maldives and most of them were quiet far and overpriced. Transfer from airport cost more than the actual price you pay for one night stay. But Adaaran Club Rannalhi was the only hotel I came across with reasonable price for transferring from airport to the hotel. Only cost me 160 dollars by ferry both ways.

This is an old 5 star resort they are trying to keep the hotel in good shape but they need to try harder! the sea. it's not for people who didn't know good swimming because it's wild and not like the other islands when they have wind they have big waves and 90% of the beach is with stones!Food was amazing but they put so little !!

Super hotel, close to Male with beautiful house reef. Everything exceeded our expectations: nice sky room, very good breakfast and for dinner and lunch we tried all restaurants but our favorite was Terra&Mare - the best. We enjoyed snorkeling at house reef - a lot of different fishes, we even saw a turtle/shark/sting ray

The Island and Reef are just amazing to do snorkel. The ambiance is calm and slowlife. The hotel is not luxurious but everything you need, maintaining the essence of the island and nature, which is amazing. The food buffet has a lot of variety and every day the theme changes, amazing grill and pasta.
