Clean room. Clean washroom. Very tasy food by inhouse team. They even packed sandwiches for the hike. Friendly and attentive staff (special mention Satheesh). Got delayed at the peak but they didn't charge extra for late checkout. Very close to the entrance. Parking available. Very reasonable price.

We liked being so close to the start of our Adams Peak hike! And not being on the main street which was loud and insane with so many people now during pilgrimage season. The location is hidden behind another bus stand leading downstairs to a few rooms with view of tea fields. Our priority was quality sleep before the sunrise hike and good breakfast after and we got both! Very grateful for that. Host was super to make us a quick breakfast and check out so we can catch the bus to Hatton and then the train to Nuwara Eliya. Room is small and basic but the price to value ratio is great

Seems new, very clean, cabin vibes. Hot water, no fan in room but we weren’t in the room very long and it’s cool at night. We arrived at 9pm, had some tea and slept till 1 to get ready for our hike. When we arrived we had the vegetable kottu which was really good, and social biriyani but it’s actually fried rice. Pragash who I think is the manager was 10/10. He reached out before we arrived, constantly checked in to make sure we were okay and gave us tips for Sri Pada. He’ll definitely do anything/everything to make sure your stay as you want it.

At the top of Adam's Peak it is quite cold and windy, you will be walking up and sweating. In order not to freeze at the top while you wait for dawn, I advise you to take extra dry clothes to change at the top (there is a toilet there), a windbreaker and a thermos with hot water. And don't forget the sunscreen, as soon as the sun comes out it won't spare you. This is an amazing place call mountain Malaya, where Guru Rinpoche gave Tantric Teachings in the Tibetan tradition for the first time on earth. And also the place of Dakinis. Glad that you will be there. Make a wish for the benefit of all sentient beings(you are one of them ;)) ! :)

We got to the top of Adam's peak to find a locked gate- very disappointing, as we couldn't get a view of the other side of the mountain! Apparently it is only open in season and I think this should be changed

This is a site every visitor to Sri Lanka should travel to. Which has historical, cultural value, hiking experience very difficult to find on most other tourist destinations. Can complete in one day (one night booking). Just about 4 hours travel from the capital, Colombo. All year cold temperature.

It's amazing area to travel.
It's amazing area to travel. Specially adam's peak is the most enjoyable hiking mountain with sri lankan traditional activities. All can enjoy with the mountain view and the waterfalls. There are lots of hotels and restaurants in that area with relevant prices.
We planned hiking Adam's Peak (Sri Pada) for a sunset from top Temple and this Motel was a great place to have some sleep before hike. Host helped us with some tips and we had delicious dinner (even if there was no electricity - it broke in that area for some hours that day). We woke up 2, was at entrance gate around 2:30-2:45 and we made it for beautiful sunset. Then came back for huuuge tasty breakfast at Motel. Biggest breakfast in Sri Lanka. Thanks so much for your hospitality! Greetings!
This place has the best price to quality ratio out of all the places I have stayed in my 3,5 weeks in Sri Lanka. I booked a room for 9$ night so I did not expect too much. But this place has everything…. Such nice owners and the mother cooks delicious foods! The room is big and very clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful and it has a hot shower. Just 5 minutes away from Adam’s peak. The owner even offered me a Tuk Tuk ride all the way to Bandaranaike Airport
Absolutely amazing place to stay near Adam’s peak. Nice, clean and spacious rooms with terrace and view on surrounding jungle. Owner is super kind and helpful, together with her mother they cook delicious food, I recommend rice and curry :) They will also provide sandwitches for trip to the mountains, egg hoppers for breakfast after you come back, arrange laundry and tuk tuk if needed. You can also have interesting conversations and get to know more about Sri Lanka❤️
I had such an amazing experience at the family homestay! The people were wonderful, and the atmosphere was cozy. Although it was a bit challenging to find the guest house due to the lack of signs, it's actually located right next to the Nallathanniya Buddha Statue. If you have trouble finding it, just ask the friendly folks at Mountain Villa Adam's Peak. They serve delicious meals, and it's the perfect place to stay if you're planning to hike Adam's Peak.
We stayed 2 nights at Queensark and we loved it! it’s situated very close to the start of Adam’s Peak. Nimal is the most friendly and helpfull host we had in Sri Lanka! Make sure you tast his delicous food! Nimal is a fantastic cook! Rooms are very spacious and very clean! In the dining room you have a wonderfull view on the green mountains. We loved our stay! Nimal: all the very best for you!! Hope to meet you again! Kind regards! Elisah and Ian
room is basic but fine. it’s a really good location next to the entrance of the Adam’s peak. we had good sleep from 9 pm till 1.45 am. the owner is our hero because he told us the best route to reach the top of the Adam’s peak and told us what we needed to do to get there. this was really helpful because we were there during Sri Lanka holiday so it was really crowded. without his help we had been stuck on the way up.
Highly recommend Hugging Clouds! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It‘s also really nice to just hang out at the hotel. Food is amazing and the staff really caring and sweet. Perfect place to start your hike to Adam‘s Peak or other destinations (you should really consider to stay longer in the area as the nature is really nice).
Thank you, Hugging Clouds!
Had a good night sleep in the Vegetable Garden House before hiking Adams peak! Really nice place. Beds are comfortable. Dinner and breakfast where both super tasty, home cooked in Sri Lanka style. Place is very quit in the night. I would stay here again. When we arrived the town didn't had any power. So we had a romantic candle light dinner :).
The room is clean, with a comfortable bed and a superb view of the jungle, river, and Adams Peak. The owner and his family are awesome! They are friendly and always try to help. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to climb Adam's peak and visit the nature around Maskeliya
From the start, their welcome was excellent. Rooms are ver clean and nice. Also their foods, sweets and tea are very delicious. They treated us very very friendly. Garden also very attractive They have many beautiful flower beds. Specially, owner is very kind, friendly and can manage any situation. That was my ever experienced perfect stay.
Perfect location close to the start of the Adam’s peak trail, and the host was fantastic. We had our best cup of tea in all of Sri Lanka here on arrival, made from tea from the area. Breakfast after our hike was great. Host offered a taxi and helped us catch the bus back to Hatton. Room was clean and spacious. Great stay!
We liked that the stay was near to our aim -Adams peak , the hike starts 400meters from our accomodation.
