Ubud was beautiful! So many things to see and do, we loved going to the waterfalls and rice terrace. Ubud centre was really busy but we went during the king Cremation. We went to a sliver making class which was amazing! The locals were beautiful, really friendly and not pushy at all!!

Most visited places are too overrated, with crowds of tourists an nothing special to see. Ceking rice teracce was nothing magical - rice were cut, so all we could see was a bunch of tourists in a mud taking worthless activities (like a riding a bike on zip line). Tirta Empul temple was overcrowded as well, no magic and no sense of holiness (be aware of women selling bananas. First they give banana to try, but then say ‘pay pay pay’). One of the most popular waterfall Tegenungan was nice, but even there was litter all around. Ubud is a place for shoping as there is a lot of shops, food markets, bazzars. Very simple to travel with Gojek. A lot of places to eat. Vegan The Zest has a good vibe.

The villa was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was the best of any of our hotels- they even had gluten free bread and pancakes and made delicious gluten free afternoon tea. The view from our private infinity pool was a secluded valley where the only thing we could hear was the waterfall below. I have already recommended this hotel to everyone who asks about our trip.
