The toilet did not flush when we arrived in room and the desk clerk handed us a plunger and said "let us know if it works) They did give us a discount when we checked out which was good. The room is not fully accessable. Tub and a shower seat (but not one that is easily used by wheelchair users) The room was clean but had been sprayed heavily with fragrance deoderisers which can be detrimental to people who are sensitive to fragrance. This facility is an older one but has gone downhill over the past few years.

There are some really cool little restaurants in Willy's puddle such as Dog 'n suds(classic dine), or the burger shack (a literal shack but SO GOOD) and red tomato pies (pizza place).
I was disturbed about how aggressive and misinformed the town people are. Many businesses were supporting the convoy in Ontario and ignoring health mandates which weren't the biggest complaints so much as when I wore a mask I was met with hostility multiple times in public.
You cannot walk everywhere in the city. Some stretches of road have no sidewalks.
I will not be visiting again any time soon...

Not much to say at all they is positive.

The room I was upgraded to needs alit of updating. Tiles on the floor were chipped and the grout is horribly dirty. I also didn’t have a shower curtain to take a shower with and when I was phoned to notify the front desk, they brought me one and I had to hang it myself!!!
I found a dirty condom on the floor beside the bed which was really gross !!

The city was beautiful with flowers along the streets.
The city was beautiful with flowers along the streets. Next time I would like to spend a little time to explore downtown . The store fronts looked welcoming. Dinner at the Laughing Loon was very good. - burgers & Fish& chips!
We were just on a 8 night road trip and this Sandman was the #1 stay out of all 8 nights. AND DORIAN at the front counter was the best. Room was spotless-Shower and comfortable bed were the best out of all 8 nights. Lots of great Restaurants nearby. At least a 9 out of 10 overall. Thank-You Sandman- you make Williams Lake Look like a spot i will stop at again. 👍🏻👍🏻
The staff were friendly, especially Shellou at reception. The rooms were very nice. I booked two room, and they put us all side by side. This gave ua an opportunityto hang out where other hotels never thought of that.. The breakfast area was very nice and open with lots of selection with tasty complimentary bites.
No breakfast. But wasn’t expecting breakfast.
Location was great. Older hotel in decent shape could use some new beds and bigger tv! Lol. But compared to hotels in town charging upwards of $140-170 per night and their rooms are mediocre at best. This place was a good value
It was clean and spacious in the hotel room, and I enjoyed the fridge and coffee maker. The restaurant downstairs was delicious! Staff were friendly and accomodating as I was travelling with two pet birds, only had a $15 pet fee. So I was thankful.
I was in Williams Lake to tend to my mom, who is terminal. What I loved about staying here was the peace and quiet that the location provided. The staff were phenomenal and the room was clean and comfortable. It really was my home away from home.
If you are looking for best price, this is the place !
But, I believe, this place have seen better times.
Honestly, price is the best, but 2 days later, when we came back to Williams lake, we stayed in another place.
One of the better looking hotels in Williams Lake.
Relatively clean facilities - gym, swimming pool breakfast room
Good breakfast menu
Coffee & water at reception
Room was nice and tidy - bed is comfortable
I really appreciated the complimentary electric vehicle charging port at the front of the building. I will be staying here whenever I'm in Williams Lake for this reason. The new owners are doing very good things!
Property was located with a beautiful view of Williams Lake. Beautiful lilacs made for a wonderful aroma around the property. Mini golf was provided with the room rate! Friendly staff and easy check in.
Not much. it was walking distance to the Laughing Loon Pub/Restaurant but it was closed. that was the main reason we chose the hotel, not their fault of course.
This hotel has a very good breakfast selection. The rooms are a good size and bed comfortable. Plenty of parking and close to the Laughing Loon for supper.
