Macher is a small village but you can find there everything you need: supeermarket, restaurants, gas station It is very peaceful place, perfect to relax. Location is very convinient: in the middle of the island- 30 minutes drive to Playa Papagayo or to Mirador del Rio. Whenether you want to go you will get there quickly.RafalPoland - 10Scored 10

A lovely town with everything you need accessible. It was more remote and away from the tourist places like Puerta del Carmen and Playa Blanca. There is a beautiful marine with restaurants nearby, which I would highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.

Macher is well placed if you want some peace and quiet but...
Macher is well placed if you want some peace and quiet but handy for visiting Puerto del Carmen & Puerto Calero as well being central for trips to the rest of the island. About a mile away is the lovely coast path between the two above resorts which are also linked by a regular boat service. There is also a lovely local tapas bar in the next village.

The renovation and decoration of the rooms was done with great taste by the owners. The whole place breathes luxury and peace. Also the kitchen in the room not only provided in all the necesary kitchenware, the owners also had put together a welcoming food package with some snacks, olives, and even a bottle of local wine, so nice!!! The hotel is convenietly located to explore the northern part of Lanza, however you do need a car to get around.
