What a special place! I wish we could have stayed longer. The views on the balcony are incredible. And the host took us on a trail on his property and we learned a lot about the local wildlife and plants. The place is set up with everything you need- great outdoor seating, a BBQ, games, coffee and comfortable beds. If you are in the area, I would 100% recommend this gem!

The place is beautiful and spacious. Very clean. Our host was amazing and went out of his way to make sure we weee comfortable. He even came by one evening and took us around the property to see jungle night critters! The gardens and veranda were fabulous.

This is the perfect cabin right in the middle of nature and tranquility! The cabin had all the amenities one could need and perfect for cooking a great meal and enjoying right on the front deck in nature. Walking distance to some nice off road paths that lead you to beautiful views of Tiliran. The host Jessica only made the stay more amazing and was so helpful and knowledgeable with all things to do around. She even gave us a ride and some bananas for breakfast from the trees right outside the cabin window 😁

This was by far the best experience I have ever had in Costa Rica. I traveled to 15 different locations over 6 months and this host family was the most generous and helpful family I have ever known. They brought me food all the time (fruit, meat, vegetables and snacks) and even gas at one point for my car. They even took me in their Jeep to see a sunset. The facility itself is clean and impeccably maintained. The house has everything you need to cook with. You hear howler monkeys in the trees across the street and chickens next door. The outdoor living area is perfect for larger groups or families. There is a convenience store a short walk away where you can find some basic staples including some meat and vegetables but it is really small (one room) so I would suggest if you come for more than a couple days that you bring groceries with you because the bigger grocery stores are about 20 minutes away. The best part is you are in the country surrounded by farmland. The yard is completely fenced in for dogs. I felt safe with a relative living next door. Highly recommend!

Very nice place with a private beach/ access to Lake Arenal. New build. The best matrix we had till now. The breakfast was excellent and during it we saw so many birds that we even didn't see in the Parkes we visit in Costa Rica. we stay 2 nights, the roads were close due to weather conditions so we couldn't go traveling according to our previous plan. Poal gave us his kayak for self Kayaking in the lake , it was a very good activity. Very worming hospitality. I'm definitely recommend you to book and stay there. Thank you

This is a beautiful property overlooking the lake. Our cabin was spacious and immaculate, the host was very accommodating, and the breakfast was excellent (I recommend the Dutch pancakes). The location is very convenient as it's in between the Monteverde and La Fortuna areas, which make for great day trips. There are also very nice restaurants in close proximity (walk or short drive). I can't recommend it enough.

Jose and Jennifer are the best! coffee farm tour was informed and inspired. cabins were lovely. food was beautiful. everything is done with love and kindness….highly recommended!!!
