Property was new construction, very clean, and well equipped. I felt extremely safe and the neighborhood was very quiet. I appreciated having a washing machine and also laundry detergent. The view of the sea from the balcony was awesome. Enjoyed being close to small town so I could walk to local restaurants to savor the local cuisine. Close to bus route 18 if you wanted to visit port of Chania. Owner was very accommodating and when my return trip became delayed, he was very helpful in assisting me to secure lodging. I definitely plan to come back to Crete and stay at the Heliades Property.

We stayed there from the 13th to the 15th of June and I can’t recommend this place enough. Everything about it was perfect. The location is unbeatable - tucked away on a quiet and charming street, yet just steps away from everything you might need: shops, restaurants, bars. The room itself was immaculately clean and incredibly well-equipped with an ironing board, a coffee machine with complimentary Nespresso capsules and a blow dryer. Upon arrival, we found a bottle of cold water waiting in the fridge, along with juice, biscuits, and jam. They had also provided a small bottle of raki with two little shot glasses. Self check-in was incredibly easy. If you’re considering booking, I highly recommend choosing the double room with patio. It comes with its own private entrance, a table and two chairs for relaxing outside, and even a drying rack for wet swimsuits. A special thank you to Maria at reception. I had been looking for a safety pin and she went above and beyond, managing to find me an entire set in two different sizes. The stay was truly exceptional from start to finish.

The apartment was ready for us and we were allowed early check-in. Vanessa, the host, was readily available and checked in on us to make sure we were well settled. The apartment was well equipped and the sofa beds were surprisingly comfortable. Instructions on check-out were clear.

Hospitality was amazing! This was more than just a room, it was an experience. From the moment we arrived, the host greeted us, and helped us carry our luggage up the steps to the second floor apartment. They helped us get oriented, taking the time to point out the local attractions, and necessary places. They were very responsive, even though it was holiday and they were with family, they ensured we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The room was very clean, had everything we needed for an extended stay, and was very close to good restaurants and cafes. The room is on the edge of the old town Chania, and the venetian harbor is about a 5 minute walk. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Crete. Both Chara and Chrisa were kindhearted! We truly appreciate everything they've done to make our stay feel comfortable! Joy & Ken USA

This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, the room was spotlessly clean, the space was larger than we could have hoped for, and the price was very reasonable for the amenities we received. The breakfast provided every morning through a local restaurant was delicious, and more food than we could eat most mornings. The hotel was in a great location - easy access to anywhere we wanted to travel. Bonus to have indoor parking! Highly recommend!

    Petros was really nice and always available to help. He picked us up at the port early in the morning and helped us with the car rental and other things. The house is probably one of the most beautiful in the town, with a loverly garden, a living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a nice room. Everything was perfect and much better than we expected. Hope to be back there in the future.
