we stayed in the hillside cabin and it was such a unique experience with a great view. the staff was also super nice and helpful. the location was perfect there were a couple of restaurants to walk to (plus the Fangst restaurant on the property) and a little grocery store so we could get a few things. we had a car so it was also just a good location to explore that side of the island and still be close to the airport. we also loved that you can book stuff right there through their guides, we only did that for kayaking but it was so nice to have breakfast there then just hop in kayaks - we also ended the day in their sauna and a jump in the water!

New home with spacious rooms. Nice views. Modern. Comfortable layout. A wonderful home! Spacious rooms. Windows that open easily! Washer machine is splendid. Location is a ten minute walk from the trailhead of an outstanding hike called Nonstinden and Ballstadheia. Ballstad initially looked to us like a sleepy village but it’s a gem with an excellent location for the outdoors.

It was much bigger than I had anticipated, offering spacious and comfortable accommodations that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail in the design and decor was impressive, blending seamlessly with the breathtaking surroundings. It truly felt like a cozy oasis nestled amidst the stunning natural wonders of the Lofoten Islands. However, what truly set this place apart was the warmth and hospitality of the hosts. From the very first greeting, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was unforgettable. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and passionate about sharing their love for the Lofoten Islands. Their local insights and recommendations made my trip even more special, allowing me to explore hidden spots and experience authentic Lofoten culture. But it was the views that stole the show. "Spectacular" doesn't even begin to describe the vistas that greeted me each morning. Imagine waking up to the sight of majestic snow-capped peaks, mirrored in crystal-clear fjords that sparkled like diamonds. The ever-changing colors of the sky during sunrise and sunset were nothing short of magical, painting the landscape with a palette of hues that left me in awe.     Very conveniently located - 1h30 drive from Å, which is the farthest point; everything else is closer. We went hiking and visited several beaches, all within a 40mins drive top. The cabin itself is right onto a small pier, nice and quiet. It is clean and very cosy, with a well equipped kitchen. Owners are very nice. Definitely recommended and a very good value for the price.

    Everything was perfect! A cozy holiday home in a quaint, not touristy area, perfect for longer stays too. The living room was lovingly furnished, the kitchen perfectly equipped. The village is in comfortable driving distance for most tourist spots (and a lot of hidden gems), very good shopping center in the nearby town.

    Gorgeous spacious apartment with fabulous view over the bay and mountains. Kitchen is well stocked for self catering though a few items missing. Huge bathroom with washing machine. Good internet. Great location from which to explore the Lofotens. Very responsive host.
