Location was perfect, steps away from the beach and lookout. Check-in was simple and host was very responsive. The villa had 2 terraces and all the kitchen supplies needed. You can hear the waves from the villa which was very soothing. However we were not impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. We found hair and stains on the bedsheet, and toilet was not cleaned on the main floor.

This property is absolutely amazing! The views from the terrace and balcony are incredible places to watch the sunset from. The house is comfortable and beautiful with everything you would need to cook at home if you choose to. Waterfalls, restaurants, and town are a few minutes walk away. We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful, with amazing views and a great pool. The host was extremely kind — he allowed us a late checkout and even let us stay by the pool afterwards. We arrived easily by Uber from Funchal, and the road was perfectly fine. Highly recommended!
