Self-Catering Accommodations in Lisnău

My wife and I traveled here with our dog (50kilos). The Positives: The owners are Very accommodating and friendly and respond fast to any issue. They also have a property caretaker who lives next door and is available if anything needs attention. The house is an old farmhouse that has been modernized. We did not go upstairs (the 2nd floor is only accessible by a pull-down style attic ladder). The downstairs consists of 2 comfortable bedrooms, a well-appointed bathroom, living room with sofa, chair, big screen TV, Wi-Fi, and a nice, kitchen that includes a coffee/expresso machine. It does not have a microwave. There are windows on 3 sides allowing good ventilation. There is also a fully equipped outside kitchen (under a 3-sided structure) that includes a full kitchen with grill, sink, TV, and dining table with seating for 6. The property is very nice and the farm setting allows for relaxation. In addition, the yard is huge, 200+ meters up the mountain and about 40 meters wide. If you enter the exact name and address in Google Maps, it will take you right to the house, so it was easy to find. The property is located at the base of a mountain and is very much a part of the natural surroundings. It is close enough to several castles and monasteries to visit them. There are neighbors on each side of the property. One side is the caretaker, who also will supply breakfast if you choose that option. She is a sweet lady and put effort into making your stay more comfortable. The other side is a small working farm with horses, sheep, turkeys, ducks, geese, and two 35kilo dogs who are watch dogs and are aggressive. There is a small grocery about 1.5km from the house and larger grocery, gas station, pharmacies, shopping, etc. in a small town about 6km away. Be sure to ask the owners about locking the front door. I was not smart enough to figure this out on my own. But, no one bothered anything while we were gone from the house.

The rooms are nice and clean. We had a good stay.

Everything was just right: location, tranquility of the place, cleanliness, facilities. It also features a nice terrace and a barbeque place. There is grass everywhere on which you can walk easy and there is a small playground for children.

Great valie for money. The apartment was clean, furniture according to pictures, kitchen and bathroom well equiped. Ideal for families with kids.

I liked everything. The apartment is just like how you see it on the pictures. It is nicely renovated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything that might be necessary for a comfortable stay. The contactless check-in and check-out is excellent. Although I did not meet her personally, the communication with the host was exceptional all along, she always replied in just a few minutes. The city centre is 10 minutes away on foot. While the apartment might be a little hard to find at first, the host will for sure help you to get there. I am sure this apartment is well worth its price, and I believe its quality exceeds that of many (more expensive) hotels. I will definitely come back if I visit Sepsiszentgyörgy/Sf. Gheorghe again.
