The Vikings Village was an absolute delight! The cottage we stayed in was lovely, family friendly but with high end finishes and incredible attention to detail, with hand made carved decorations on the buildings in line with the theme. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen, and very modern bathroom. It was such a refreshing change from chain and commercial hotels. The location is very pretty, set in a wooded area, with the sound of a brook babbling through the forest. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to stay and we were very pleased to have found it!

I had the most magical Thanksgiving week here. The property around the cottage is gorgeous, especially the mountain stream and waterfalls just through the trees. The cottage itself is full of windows and light and warmth. This Florida girl enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching the snow fall. The cottage is brand new and very well equipped. I highly recommend it and hope to come back again one day. And you could not ask for better hosts than Gene and Mary.
