It was very convenient as we arrived later in the night and did not know the exact time upfront anyway. Everything was arranged without any need of interaction with the owners from my side which I appreciate a lot because I usually hate to deal with the organization before the trip. And we even got a wine as a gift. Thank you!

Hallmoosgut is a beautiful house in the mountains with amazing views. You can literally see the slopes and gondola from your balcony (but there is no road to them so you have to drive for 10 minutes to wagrain). As a bonus it is a true working farm with various animals. Tommy the dog is a very cuddly and fluffy gentleman (Bernese mountain dog). The last few kilometers from the main road are on rather steep and narrow roads, I highly recommend having snow chains if you don't have 4X4, but we didn't have to use them since the snow fall was low. Overall, I would definitely recommend it if you prefer authentic Austrian countryside with lots of animals. As the most famous Austrian once said... I'll be back!
