The bed deserves special praise – it was so incredibly comfortable that I found myself sleeping over 8 hours each night, which is rare for me, especially when traveling. After physically demanding days of bouldering, this restorative sleep made all the difference in our trip. Hotel Pitschonia strikes the perfect balance between comfort and practicality. Whether you're visiting Magic Woods for climbing or exploring the area for other reasons, this hotel provides everything you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Katja was a great hostess, welcoming us warmly to an incredibly clean home. She was knowledgeable and helpful, providing us with a binder of activities covered or discounted by the guest card. She even showed us the best spot to view the cow parade, giving us an up close experience without the crowds. Overall, if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and relax in a place that is untouched by tourism, this hidden gem will provide you with an authentic Swiss experience.
