Wendy’s place is incredible, a beautiful house, private and surrounded by nature. The nights were with perfect temperature and you sleep with the sound of nature, something we needed to get accustomed with. But we had the best sleep for 4 nights! We booked the full experience with breakfast and dinners brought dearly by Wendy’s mom, who was a bit like our mom too. If you speak a bit of spanish, this will stay as your favorite memory of the house, like for us. The waterfall of the neighbour’s property is also superb and had it just for us, is bigger than it looks on photos! We also saw some toucans from the balcony and hummingbirds. A little paradise we recommend to everyone.

I really enjoyed my stay in Heredia. The hostess is extremely nice and even helped me with some personal issue (I needed a picture of my passport on short notice). The apartment is very spacy, clean and comfortable.

There was an information booklet in the cabin which had an amazing range of activities, which you can book with the hosts.

The best part is that you are surrounded by nature and can hear the river. There are so many amazing birds that you can see right off the deck. You will will be immersed in hummingbirds. You can also hear howler monkeys in the distance. It is the perfect base to explore Sarapiqui with a very authentic Costa Rican experience in a rural and less touristed/busy area. The house is in like-new condition with everything you need. The air conditioner is very cold and the shower has great hot water. The wifi worked great. The area is very safe, and there's a gate for added protection.
