This hostel is located on Berunes farm by the Ring Road and is 45 km from the village of Djúpivogur. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, and lounges. Free WiFi is available. We were on the Iceland ring road trip. This was the best hotel experience I had on my trip. You could feel the human attitude and care in everything. and everything was just very pleasant. We didn't see much of the surroundings because there was a lot of fog and our stay was relatively short, but we experienced a magical atmosphere. Breakfast made from local products and warm, home-baked bread. This is a family business and you can really feel the family in this place.

It was far away from the city, close to waterfalls and with a stunning view of the lake. Nicely equipped with everything necessary, fire places added very nice and cozy vibes to it. It was stylish with wooden design, so it created perfect ambiance. It was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. So worth it

The host sent us instructions before arrival and it was very helpful, I read lots of info about this property so I knew what to expect and I knew there wasn’t a separation between the “rooms” and it didn’t bother me. The apartment was really nice decorated and we felt very comfortable there, we made dinner and breakfast and the kitchen was well equipped. The drive to this apartment was the most beautiful drive of our 10 day trip, I didn’t know we had to drive up the snowy mountain to get down to this city and it was incredible. It’s a pity it was raining when we arrived and we couldn’t go out for a walk in the village and we didn’t see the northern lights, which we were very hopeful to see the lights in this city due to its prime location.

New houses, clean, warm and it had everything we needed, kitchen is small but fine. Master bedroom is big and the other two bedrooms are smaller for individuals. Location is a short drive from Egilsstaðir

The apartment was really cozy and we had everything needed. There was a washing machine but we unfortunately didn't have time to use it. The bed was big and really confortable. It was a perfect stay, we would love to come back.

Starmýri 2 Cottages se nachází v destinaci Starmýri a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi a výhled na hory. Absolutely the best of all accomodations we've had during our Ring Road tour. The cottage was absolutely stunning and cozy, with all amenities a guest would need. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the hosts were extremely accommodating, even going as far as lending us duct tape to fix a pair of our boots.
