Design was attractive and spacious. Hot tub a great plus.

Thingvellir Milli Parkı noktasına yaklaşık 47 km mesafede yer alan ve dağ manzarası sağlayan Aurora Cottage on the Golden Circle tesisi balkon ve kahve makinesi olanağı ile konaklama imkanı sağlar. This cottage was probably the best place we stayed in during our trip to Iceland. Very convenient location, right in the middle of the golden circle but still remote enough for you not to feel in the middle of the tourist confusion. The cottage itself is beautiful and super cozy. All made of wood from top to bottom. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and another one with bunk beds. The bathroom was clean and quite large for the Icelandic standards. The kitchen had all the appliances needed and there was a large table in the dinning area. The living room was spacious and very comfortable. The owners even have a netflix account you can use as a guest of the property. Great touch that we truly appreciated. Bonus point: we got privileged views of the northern lights right at the doorstep of the cottage. If I ever come back to Iceland, I will look forward to rebook this place!

What an experience staying in two lovely quaint barrels. So unique. We love finding different places to stay. It was so warm and cozy inside the barrels with a lovely bathroom, and the outside shower room was spacious and very warm too, with lovely fluffy gowns. We had the place to ourselves so we didn't share the shower room. Sùsannah was so welcoming and responsive online. Such friendly dogs, and a brief sighting of the cat. And what a treat to sit in a hot tub under the stars looking at the Northern Lights when it was freezing outside! Our teenage just girls loved it! Wish we could've stayed longer.
