I recommend 100% staying at this neighborhood instead of the crowded and noisy center -which is only 10 min. walking far. No car noise, but beautiful mountain views from the terrasse, all the facilities nearby (laundries, restaurants for both locals and visitors, minimarkets, ice creams) and a great atmosphere after 6PM when all people hang out in the main streets. Staying at Olaza's was a great choice, and Tito is the right person to advise you about the Andes, and have good conversations with. I had a spacious room and bathroom, I was provided with a varied and nutritional breakfast, I had access to kitchen and terrasse at all times, my room had always warm water, and I was given a heavy woolen blanket for the night.

Very comfortable bed, cozy room, great rooftop, full downstairs kitchen, hot showers, lovely family. It's a nice 15 minute walk downtown or collectivos come around every 10 minutes. Great general store just around the corner. The owner's wife and daughter went the extra mile and we loved our stay.

Nice, new and well equipted accommodation, really nice host. The room was quiet, had balcony, hot water in the shower, towells, shampoo, etc. Recommended!
