Just as photos often don't give justice to the view, the words can't describe well enough how amazing the location of Villa Magadlena is! We were so close to Trzy Korony and just at the river at the same time - absolutely perfect! Very close to hikes and bicycle paths, and the area itself was quiet and peaceful. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had great facilities. The owner came to greet us, and she was very friendly and accommodating. I also liked how the rooms were named after the peaks in Pieniny National Park. Highly recommended!

This guest house features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Hrabusice is the best base for a visit to Slovensky Raj and exploring the Spis region. Some hiking trails (Hornad canyon, Sucha Bela) are walking distance from the village, for the rest you would need a car as public transport is limited outside summer holidays. Due to some mix up with the booking Peter (the host) arranged for us to stay in an apartment in another part of the village. It was an upgrade as we had a whole very comfy apartment with kitchen to ourselves. Communication with Peter was fast and reliable and the proposed solution more than satisfactory! Tip for visitors: since April 2024 local tourist tax (2 euros per person per night) allows free entry to paid sites in Slovensky Raj and includes insurance for mountain rescue costs.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious two-bedroom garden apartment in Levoca. The unit was beautifully renovated, blending old-world charm with modern comfort, and featured a well-appointed kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. Located within easy walking distance of the main square, we were able to explore all the major sights, restaurants, and cafes without needing a car. Our host, Eva, was incredibly attentive and responsive—offering helpful tips about Levoca and nearby attractions like Spis Castle and Slovak Paradise National Park. Her local insights truly enhanced our experience. Levoca itself is a gem—steeped in history and full of charm. The main square is lovely, and the standout attraction is the stunning St. James Church, home to unique wooden altar carvings and a popular stop for pilgrims on the Slovak portion of the Way of St. James. The town also served as a perfect base for exploring the region, including the dramatic gorges of Slovak Paradise (ideal for hiking, canyoneering, and biking) and the majestic High Tatras mountains, just a short drive away via Poprad. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty and culture of eastern Slovakia with the comfort of a thoughtfully maintained and welcoming home base.

Towels and bed linen are offered in the apartment. It's a quite well equipped apartment on the top floor of a residential building. We liked it and would go back again. There's a cozy cafe bar on the ground floor where we got coffee, breakfast and also pizza for dinner. The neighborhood is peaceful.
