I like Harrietville, it is quieter than Bright, less problems with parking and better access to hikes in the area, imo. Snowline hotel is no frills, but very functional - water is hot, plenty and with good pressure. Bed is comfy, room is clean. Fridge is small but fits everything i need. Hotel is attached to the pub that also serves food. And it’s just 200 meters to a bakery with pretzels :p

The accommodation has been newly renovated, very clean and warm. The free breakfast includes hot meal everday with different menu each day. Location is only 1 minutes walk to the bus stop 2. All the staff are nice too, especially Amy & Lachie - the owners are very welcoming and helpful. I really enjoyed the stay and will definitely come back.

Very amazing décor ..... German/Swiss style alpine lodge . Lots of dead stuff and cuckoo clocks on the walls(don't forget the piano accordion music) . Very warm and cosy feel with great bar/restaurant/Breakfast hall. Owner and staff were very friendly and try the "Boot shot" to warm you up. No other accommodation in the area offers this style of hospitality .
