I thought the rating of 7 is a bit harsh as I found the hotel to be quite adequate. Yes the property is old, but it is well maintained and clean. Adequate free parking and lovely view of the lake contributed to a pleasant stay. Did not take dinner or breakfast so can’t speak to the food service.

The place is like advertised. Host was very helpful and went the extra mile when learned that our travel plans got disrupted. The chalet has a great rustique vibe and is remote enough to enjoy some time away from the hassle of a big city, while close enough to civilization when you need it.
