We loved the little cottage and gardens at A La Petite Maison- Olivier and Florence were the perfect hosts. We felt warmly welcomed from the minute we arrived. Our cottage had a most amazingly comfortable king sized bed and the kitchen was very well equipped. We had our own garden dining patio. Olivier speaks English well, and together they both made wonderful recommendations for day hikes from the property. Highly recommended!!😊

Lots of electric sockets to plug in your electric devices. Dedicated parking right outside the gite. Although we didn't make full use of the kitchen, it is well-equipped to meet most of your needs (there's even a raclette grill). Despite the tiny bedroom, the beds were very comfortable (it has a topper!). We slept well for the night. Location-wise it sits in a beautiful area and is convenient for accessing the main highways to take you to Italy or southern France. Note: the ceilings are low, so the gite may not be suitable for very tall people. Ventilation is not great (only opening is bathroom window and front entrance). If you need anything, the owners live above in the main house.

Special thanks to the cleaning staff who welcomed us so kindly during Sunday and rushed to clean our room. The view on Gap from our room was lovely. If you plan to enjoy Gap and the surrounding it’s a perfect spot. We’ve been exploring the area for a decade now and we really appreciated this hotel. Great price/value, comfy, quiet and very easy to access with a car. The City center is just a few minutes away, and there’s a lot of choices wether you want to grab something to eat near the hotel or enjoy some restaurant in the city without spending too much time.

The design is wonderful. I enjoyed the quiet location & the view from the deck. I prefer a traditional shower rather than the wooden tub. But it did look neat. It’s also always nice to have access to a frig.
