The staff was above and beyond. We have stayed at many Four Seasons hotels / luxury hotels and this staff was “authentic” not “in your face” but noticed when you needed their services. We will most definitely return multiple times. It truly was worth our “time”. Luica the manager of the main restaurant…..they are blessed to have her, she is truly caring about “you”!

The rook was very comfy. Willi was very kind and accommodating. The views were amazing and we loved getting our pastries delivered to us in the morning.

The location is excellent, and most of the staff are very friendly, providing top-notch service. The restaurant is amazing, and the food, including breakfast, is fantastic. Shuttle buses run frequently to the town, ski areas, and other key spots. The hotel rooms have a charming old-school style but are very cozy, which didn’t bother us at all. There’s also a convenient ski room. Highly recommended if you want to stay close to town without overspending on fancy accommodations. In-town restaurants are much more expensive but not necessarily better. The ski lifts are about 6–8 minutes away, and the snow sledding experience, especially with the mountain train, is incredible. The views from the mountains are absolutely worth the trip. The town itself is amazing, full of charm and character.

We were upgraded to the Seceda Suite, which was a very generous gesture from the hotel in celebration of our wedding anniversary. The suite was breathtaking, combining elegant interior design with cozy alpine charm. It had everything you could possibly need, including a private in-room sauna, which made our stay feel extra luxurious. As a sweet surprise, we were also gifted chocolates, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a personal wedding anniversary card from the hotel owner and team—an incredibly thoughtful touch that made our stay even more special. The breakfast was exceptional, offering everything you could want—fresh, high-quality ingredients, a huge variety, and an emphasis on taste and presentation. Every morning felt like a treat. Overall, the location, service, and attention to detail at Hotel Gardena are unmatched. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and serene escape in the Dolomites.
