Sakuya was a delight. it seems it’s run by a husband and wife. they picked us up from the train station. offered delicious and nutritious home cooked breakfasts and dinner for a reasonable price. it was the end of winter so still the slow season and we were their during the week so we basically had the place to ourself. beautiful views of fuji from every window. the onsen was lovely. I would recommend trying to get in before sunset so you see the beautiful views.

Great location near the lake with beautiful Fuji views. The villa was quite spacious, clean and well equiped. The staff was very friendly and gave us good recommendations and even a transfer back to the main station.

The property was really nice very close to the Yamanakako Lake which has one of the best views of Mt. Fuji. In terms of facility, it was complete perfect for someone looking for a stay other than hotel.
