Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us in every aspect - picking us up and dropping us off at the train station, calling a taxi for us, etc. Also love that they have different pillow materials and varying degrees of softness/firmness for you to choose from (first come first serve), ensuring a good nights sleep.

Takano-san is incredibly generous and very caring. I was coming back from a music festival and wasn’t sure if there were taxis operating from Echigo Yuzawa Station so I intended to do a 75-minute walk back, and she told me she was willing to pick me up. Fortunately, there were taxis making runs at 1am so I was able to make it back safely. I immensely appreciate her gesture.

Beautiful and very spacious house! Very clean and cozy. We’ve spent here 5 nights and it was wonderful. Very hospitable and kind owner Kimura San who helps with everything. Three bedrooms, big kitchen, living room with Netflix. Stunning view from the windows. Snowboarding and skiing! Such an amazing experience. We loved it so much! ありがとうございました！

This was an overall wonderful experience. There are only three guestrooms, so a very intimate experience. There are two indoor and two outdoor baths. There is also a room with an irori.

Love the interior, minimalistic and very clean. They have a mini convenience store on site that works on an honest basis. Location is also pretty good, just near the ski lift, and few minutes walk to a public onsen that opens until 23:00! They offer free shuttle pickup and drop-off when you check-in and check-out. Staffs are very helpful!
