Host was very friendly and supportive. When we didn't get back from hike before sunset, owner contacted us if we are ok. Facility also offers plenty of options to spend time (billiard table, table football, shuffle board,...) Rooms were well equipped and clean.

Veronika was the sweetest and most gracious host. She shared a plate full of traditional Slovak Christmas sweets. The unit we stayed in was spacious and clean.

Jozef and Vera are such nice and kind hosts who made my stay really memorable. The room is very bright, clean and spacious with a super comfortable bed. The shared kitchen and bathroom are also clean and equipped with everything you need. The area is just magnificent and Štrba itself is quiet and a bit away from the tourist hotspot of Štrbské Pleso, which is still easily reachable by car or bus. The bus runs every 1-2h and connects Štrba with the train station and Štrbské Pleso. It can be a bit hard to communicate with people in the area away from the tourist hotspots if you don't speak Slovak but with a few words of Slovak you can achieve a lot and Jozef and Vera even speak a bit of German! All in all a great experience and would definitely recommend!
